Edibles How to make edibles

Most simple method possible:

1) decarb weed by placing it dry (nothing else except the weed) in an oven at 240 F for 1 hour.

2) grind the weed up and mix it with the smallest amount possible to fully envelop the weed with some type of oil (coconut oil is my favorite), olive oil and peanut butter also are good

3) heat and mix this weed/oil mixture for like 15 minutes.

4) consume the weed oil mixture as is or put into capsules and consume.

For interest sake I use 97% pure Distillate to cook muffins once. Baked 2 dozen 24 muffins that have roughly 40mg thc per muffin, but 2-3 knocked you on your ass. Couch potatoes locked. Tolerance dependent but still strong af.

So I'm using current high concentration Distillate to cook with.

basic recipe:

crock pot, lots of water and some coconut oil, plus ground weed.

heat it up for awhile, then strain and filter,

then pour it into a glass with a taper.

let it cool without letting it jiggle so the coconut oil will make a puck.

the water will have nasty tasting water soluble stuff and the green color, the oil will have the terpenes and cannabinoids.

pop the puck out and keep it, toss the water.

repeat with more water to get more of the bad taste out.

i don't remember the times and temps, but like i said... the basics.

It's an old, old, recipe... like from ancient India, to toss the pot and some butter in a big pot of boiling water and boil all day. Filter out the pot and let cool. The butter will float to the top and can be picked off in a big piece, especially if refrigerated. Then, use in recipes, etc.

I've done this before I knew about decarboxylization and it worked well. I'd use it for stalks and fan leaves of outdoor plants. A caveat is that the boiling point of water is 212F and it doesn't go over this when it boils. If you look it up, it says to decarb for at least 90 minutes at 212F and some sites say for hours. So the thing to do is to makes sure it's bone dry before starting (which will begin the decarb) and to do it for hours like the recipe says.

I have done a lot from making cannabutter, too long time oil cooking to oven decarbing to ethical extraction and so on. Depends what you want to use buy lately I can get a 1ml 97% pure thc Distillate for cooking, already active and stuff, so just have to work out dosing and so worth. But every since that came out I stopped using old methods.
