How to make an alcohol vaporizer?

So I saw that one called "AWOL." Apparently an ethanol/oxygen mix is delivered through inhalation.

I was wondering if this is something I can make?

My plan so far is getting on of those personal oxygen inhalers and running another line from which the ethanol vapor would be coming from and inhale (while being able to cut off the oxygen flow if its overpowering the ethanol). Now I'd just need to know how to vaporize that ethanol?

I don't want to try the dry ice trick either....

Any help is greatly appreciated.

hmmm. that gives me an idea. I'm looking for something somewhat portable and easy to use. Now that I think of it, maybe I'll just use the dry ice and have an oxygen supply flowing at the same time? hmm

This is not safe, ethanol/oxygen vapour mixtures are very flammable if not explosive.

damn really? I could have sworn that that's how the AWOl product works.

What do u think about the dry ice effect and inhaling those personal canned oxygen tanks between inhalations?

I also think that this would be very unsafe. Not only flammable as hell but I could see it being extremely easy to get too much. And I don't think your bodies natural reaction to drinking too much alcohol (Puking) would occur if you ended up inhaling too much... Or maybe it would, but it wouldn't rid you of any of the alcohol.

This doesn't sound at all safe to me, see sekio's post.. and I don't know what you mean by "dry ice effect" either as ethanol is a liquid and you'd have to heat it to get enough to vapourise, so nothing like dry ice really. I'm going to close this as it just sounds like a terrible idea all round, but feel free to pm me explaining why I am wrong and I can always reopen it! :)
