how to lessen negative physical after-effects from ketamine?

I love K. It brings me to great places and provides lots of insight.

However, the next day I am ALWAYS shot. Headaches, lethargy, and generally all the symptoms of some bad hangover. It is getting to the point where when I have it (which isnt very frequently) I am really worried about doing it at all.

I am wondering if there are any vitamins, foods, or techniques I can use during or before the K to lessen the negative effects.

One thing I would suggest would be to drink a lot of water. Ive heard it helps either the kidney, bladder or both.
 
when i was using Ket nearly daily for over a year, i'd wake up sometimes feeling shitty, so i would just do more K when i woke up

BUT i sugges that you try to take it less often and ee, and if that still doesn't work, and the side effects are stronger than the good effects, just quit...
 
More Ketamine is definately the only cure, as DopeFiend pointed out drinking water in your trip will keep you hydrated and help with the constipation some users suffer, along with maintaining a healthy diet [I know its hard, but you have to face the consequences of your use]. Maybe also try smoking some nice Sativa Buds, getting nice and high can take your mind off the 'comedown'. Hope this helps, as it does in my experience, Peace (:

Suggesting more of the same drug to cure a hangover of that same drug... yeaahh sounds like a great way to get addicted. 8)

Just do ketamine all day everyday man, you'll feel great!!! =D

Anyways... how much are you doing and how often?

Just don't take Ketamine when you have work/school the day after...

Other than that, K hangover really isn't the worst thing if you can stay home.
Eat, drink, it will make you somewhat less lethargic, take some acetaminophen/paracetamol in case of a headache. I don't think there is a miracle remedy though.

Don't take more Ketamine, it'll only worsen the hangover eventually and will turn you into a zombie after a few days. Redosing to lessen (i.e. delay) an hangover is a stupid idea.

i've found that keeping hydrated the day of your trip and the day after makes a huge difference in the level of ket hangover you get.

drink lots of water or gatorade. it really helps. plus, now that i know to stay hydrated i've not gotten the dreaded k pains. they've only happened once to me, but that was enough.
 
Sure have read somewhere that moderate predose of benzo's protects your (NMDA?) receptors against potential damage from the K -

Probably this would help the "hangover" - have never really got one from K, generally leaves me with a bit of a glow.. lookin into predosing with Benzo's though so will look again at thread if anyone has more info?

^ id like to see the source. I feel like if a took a moderate predose of benzos before K, I would just fall asleep and waste the K. But maybe if I built up a benzo tolerance -- jk...
 
I used to stay up for the weekend and eat 5+ Valiums and do 3 grams of Ketamine, always kept hydrated, ate when I felt hungry and smoked when the effects wore off; have only started getting 'Hangovers' since ive cut down... Peace (:
