Okay so I'm on my 5th or 6th day of Adderall XR. I'm not looking to abuse the drug in any way. I take 5mg a day and one day took 10mg. The problem is I don't feel anything. So am I supposed to feel anything at all? how do I know it's working? I'm currently on 30mg of Lexapro and 30mg of Abilify could the Abilify be blocking the effects of the Addy? I know it's a low dose and I do feel a little more clear headed but I still can't sit down and do something for along time without losing interest. I know I have ADD I took the CPT test and it came back positive with me having a 56% of having ADD. Is anyone on the board ever been on this low of a dose b4? What do the effects of Adderall feel like? IF YOUR SUPPOSED TO FEEL IT. When I was on 36mg of Concerta I felt it working because everything would fly by and I could sit and do things for a long period of time. Concerta put me in the zone. I was expecting Adderall to do the same to a greater extent. Why I'm I off Concerta well I ended up abusing it by taking more then prescribed and I don't want to go down that road again I just want the adderall to work. By the way it's Adderall XR by shire I believe. Thanks for your help.

Ummm from this stat I would say it would be difficult to "know" anything but I'm not familiar with the test nor what your description may have meant to convey.

Basically to answer your question the Adderall is working properly if you feel normal but able to slightly concentrate better. Having time fly by or put you in the zone for hours on end would likely be considered abusing it as a smart drug. Then again why the attention span of the majority of the population is considered ideal I can't tell you.
 
Take it with a tall cup of milk first thing in the morning, and eat 4 rolaids, on an empty stomach... also take at least 15mg to feel the "blossum" ....

its like your whole life you were out of focus, and that first adderall high is the prescription lenses on finally.

I don't feel anything though. I however I'm not looking for a high. I just want better concentration and faster processing speed. Is there anything online I can test the AMP with like a game of some sort.
 
uhh i dunno about the abilify but LOL @ a game to tell if amphetamine's working

IME i dont "feel" my dexedrine for my ADHD. you dont feel it, it just works. plain and simple
i "feel" it when i get high and snort 60-120mg, but you dont "feel" something but not a high...which seems to be what you're askin aboot
if you wanna know if you're high on amphetamines, play a FPS game and see how long it takes for you to start yelling and screaming, and see if you play it for 6-8 hours straight
 
Yes it does. I wouldn't dare to take both adderall and abilify together, just because they would jack me up and I'm more of an opiate/benzo person. If you do some research online, through yahoo and google, you'll find more people stating they can't feel adderall on abilify. If I were you, I would take the one you need most or just switch meds to a combination that works together.
