How to Keep Out Of Cuffs

the less time you spend with illegal things on your person the better.

get stoned in safe places that you can stay the entire duration.

keep to yourself but be polite in general.

dont talk to random people, and always make sure you really know who your friend of a friend is.

if people gives off a sketchy vibe during transactions, cut ties.

dont sell, deal, or help out more than 1 good friend. ever.

if youre into alcohol, meth, coke, whatever anything that might make you get belligerent and wild, get a system in place to restrain yourself or stay in a controlled place

gettin the point across", becuz he AINT gettin the point across, becuz there aint no such thing as "dressin black" and to talk like there is, is stereotyping and bein ignorant as hell, and that type shit aint tolerated in here, period. I dont know WTF he means becuz I sure as hell never seen a "black" way to dress just like i never seen a "asian" way to dress. Shit like that, the stuff that people think is this innocent harmless shit, is the subtle ignorance that leads to more severe out right racist thinkin.

Whether a person is sayin somethin on purpose with malicious intent, or is just bein ignorant and dont realize it and didnt mean nothin by it, it dont matter, it still aint some shit that is cool in this forum. Thats how it is, thats it. Thats all there is to say about it in this thread. I posted the original post to let people know, as a moderator in here, the type of thing that is and aint appropriate in the forum. I aint askin everybody and their mama opinion on my opinion, so lets get back to the topic of this thread.
 
The most important thing, besides the obvious ones already mentioned by the OP,

Do not be a problem for the community. I've noticed almost everyone taken down for dealing is someone who engages in general criminal behavior outside of drugs.

This includes:

-No traffic at your house, especially late. Don't even go repeatedly in and out yourself after dark.

-Don't deal with people who have to hide what they're doing from someone they live with or frequently see.

-And the biggest one: Don't commit other crimes. No stealing, no fighting, nothing with a victim, even "non-civilian" victims (other druggies). Don't rip people of either.

-Be a good person to people you deal to. The reality is people get busted and have to choose between ratting someone out and going to prison themselves. Hopefully they'll choose to rat out people they don't like.

All of these things are based on the observation that if you're not bothering anyone or upsetting the social order, the cops will focus their energy on people who do. A neighbor/mom/dad/boyfriend/girlfriend/whatever that is anti-drug wanting something done about you is the fast track to an investigation then arrest. From what I've seen, being an otherwise upright citizen substantially reduces police's desire to go after you, especially if you take the other basic precautions that would mean a serious, long-term, complicated investigation to bring you in. They've got worse people to go after.

And I've gotta say it:

You know damn well what a drug user/dealer stereotypically looks like. Don't look like that. Yeah, it's profiling. But it's reality. If you look a certain way, you get more police attention. (this isn't racial, it applies to every race).

I don't care how careful you are but all it takes is some bad luck, a stupid mistake or loose lips in order to get locked up. Im 28 and ive been buying drugs since i was 12 and i havent done any jail time or gotten arrested because of them. Though there where a few close calls. It was for the most part plain luck that i never got arrested for buying cannabis, cocaine and crack, various opiates and various benzos. But for the most part i wouldnt buy off anyone if i didnt know them and the few times i did buy right off the street in broad daylight it was in places where i was sure there was little chance of arrest over nothing but abit of weed or coke.

So yes i was careful but i was also very lucky.
 
I read somewhere never to talk incriminatingly in houses or cars as if surveillance is occurring it is likely in these places, going walking is good for you anyway

Agreed. Never hurts to be a little paranoid but the only people who really have to worry about being tapped/bugged are big dealers.

Meet up like Deniro and Pesci in Casino.

There's also a scene where they're in Deniro's mansion but they choose to go into the garage and talk inside his car because it's the only safe place to speak. And they use their wives on the phone to speak code. There's a bunch of sneaky stuff they do but none of it is on YouTube. It's a great movie to check out if you have the time.

But again. The only reason one would need to take precautions like this is if you were moving some serious weight.
 
In my opinion in the uk be very aware that you are being watched all the time , we have the highest ratio of cameras per person in the world!
Never cop off someone u don't know directly.
If your gut is tellig you it's wrong 99% of the time it is.
Be carefull out there, i ain't 2 paranoid but i go into situations thinking of the worst posible out come.
 
Hey yall just a reminder that this thread aint about "things that totally wouldnt happen to you unless you are a really big dealer" and the shit that would or wouldnt be realistic to be concerned about. I unapproved a comment that wasnt bad or nothing, but it was somethin along those lines, and we dont need a debate in here about the shit that will or wont happen to you depending on how much drugs you use or move, etc.

I can tell you that peoples phones DO get tapped over shit that aint as major as you would think and i know that from personal experience...so dont worry about sayin some shit like "Omg wtf that would never happen unless u r like a super big dealer selling pounds of heroin" and shit like that. Just keep ur focus on the topic of the thread. If people wanna take the cautions that a high up dealer would take, even if they aint necessary, that aint a bad thing. Its bein smart, so wat if its prolly over cautious, it aint gonna hurt nobody and it will only serve to protect them better so it aint up to us to decide a "reasonable" amount of caution. Just talk about the shit that YOU did, or the things that make sense to you as the best ways to avoid gettin in trouble from ur drug activities.
 
theres this goddess that comes to town to sell shit at our towns farmers market every thursday. so im strolling home, and theres the cop that should be a crossing guard he's standing off his post and kicking it to her,
i wanted to say , hey shouldnt you be helping people cross the street, ?

Wanted to add:

Don't do shit in parking lots. You think you're so slick the unmarked cop on the other side of the lot isn't watching you get out of one car, into another, or back in (or see the window handoff)? Surveillance cameras can prove it.

Plus, I don't know how other units do it, but the local narcotics task force here has informant deals go down in parking lots because of various issues with doing it at private residences. If you always meet up at your house or your guys, then all of sudden it's meet me in a public place, it might be a setup; which leads to the larger point:

Know how your local narcotics task force typically operates; procedures and vehicles. If you're bigger, there's other counterintelligence activities that can help reduce your odds that are extensions of this basic idea.

Thats a good point. A friend of mine who doesn't even use illegal drugs just drinks booze and does not drink and drive had grateful dead stickers on his old car and he was pulled over because of this and the cop claimed he was going 5mph over the speed limit for a few seconds in a low area speed limit zone.
 
Well alot of it is common sense really. The people that really piss me off are the types that actually post pics of the drugs they are dealing on fucking facebook of all things. One guy i know of was holding a pic of a big sack of coke in a pic on facebook with his friends and they where all your typical chavs and certainly looked the part. If this does not draw police attension nothing will.

Where i live it's a rather small place so you get a idea of which crowd are safe and even which areas are safeish to buy right off the street without too much risk. Of course all it takes is abit of bad luck, a stupid mistake or some gutless rat to ruin your day. But you can often get a tip off that a bust is coming here if your smart about it so that is atleast one plus.
 
dont carry doc bronners magic soap in your car, some punk rocker got stopped a few years back, so they searched the car, found the bottle of soap did a field test, it tested positive for g, they arrested the punk rocker, im sure he got some cash flo outta that one
 
Some tips i'd give:

- Drive a normal conservative looking car that isn't a beat up piece of crap and don't put any stickers on your car other than sports teams.
- This has been said plenty of times but follow all the road rules when driving.
- Don't carry drugs around with you unless you are going to use them. So many of my friends always have a tin of weed and a pipe in their backpack. I only ever bring whatever drugs I know I will be consuming while out and while there has been times where I wish i'd brang that extra couple of pills I have at home its better to be safe than sorry.
- Don't hang around and dont buy from dealers who are in it just for the image. I'm sure you all know the type, these people don't last long at all.
- Make sure at your house you don't always leave stuff laying around all the time. Ie dont have your favourite bong sitting on the coffee table.
- Don't dress like a typical drug user and DON'T wear clothes that have Pot leaves on them or dress like an obvious raver all the time.
- Be really friendly to your neighbours, if you live next to an old couple always say hi to them and also be really friendly to your dealers/customers. Like someone said already if someone is getting leaned on by the cops then they are more likely to dob in the person that was a cunt to them than someone who they like and respect. Don't have loud parties because no matter how nice you are to your neighbours nothing will piss them off more than you having a massive party that goes until 4 in the morning.
 
'how to stay out of cuffs' will really depend on you're situation like lacey said.

For me, a 21 year old infrequent drug user living with my upper-middle class family, its pretty easy:

- have a good stash spot to hide things from the parents (honestly i'm more worried (and more likely) about being caught by them than the cops)
- Trust your dealer. go through friends or, less ideally, friends of friends.
- If you can avoid it, dont meet your dealer in a public place. If you follow the rule above then they should be comfortable having you in their house or inviting them into yours
- when taking drugs in public (music festivals, etc) go to some effort to conceal them on the way there and on the way in. not going to go into detail here but if it can be found by a standard pat-down then you're not hiding it well enough.
- Dont take your drugs in public. Head to the toilets, grab a stall and go for it. dont be that guy who gets done by an undercover for eating a pill on the dancefloor
- only carry as much as you need. if you're going to a mates to smoke up, dont bring an ounce if you're only going to smoke a gram.
- always have an exit strategy. Not to be paranoid but if you've got drugs on you always be thinking about what you'll do if the cops show up. Where are the nearest bathrooms/exits, in which direction are you going to disappear into the crowd, are you going to eat your drugs or throw them away, run from the cops or act cool and talk your way out of it

and perhaps most importantly:
- know what you're getting into. Are you willing to accept the consequences if you do get caught?
If the penalty for a bit of weed was 20 years in prison would you still use it? Don't bite of more than you can chew and dont get in too deep.
