Hi guys, I'm doing research for a hypothetical study at university.
Jess is currently on 3x5mg dexamphetamine pills per day (spread out) on a trial to see if they improve her concentration as she is suffering from adult ADHD.
Jess's psychiatrist appointment is within the next couple of weeks and having done some research, she wants to increase her daily prescription dosage to more than 15mg.
Jess is to report to the doctor on her concentration length after taking the 5mg pills.
Jess's doctor has advised she may also take 10mg at one time if she needs to concentrate harder.
Jess is convinced the dexamphetamine actually DO help her concentration and ADHD, and was wondering what the best way to ensure her doctor increases her daily dosage?
Jess's question to the community is, whether there are there any checkpoints she needs to mention to her doctor to ensure a higher dosage (other than stating that she can concentrates for longer after taking 10mg at a time)?
Any advice at all is appreciated
