How to get resin out of a,bowl & smoke it

OK...I always said I'd never smoke resin but I havnt smoked in a week & I'm desperate. If anybody can help w a quick answer I'd really appreciate it!????...still can't believe they don't have a bowl!!
 
Id always use a paper clip and straighten it out. Push all the resin from the stem down into the bowl, under the hole you suck flame into when you're smoking. Repeat the process through the carb and push as much resin as you can from the inside of the bowl underneath that hole. Now suck your lighter flame through the hole and onto all that resin you just piled up and you'll get a hit. Be careful as the resin ball turns to.the last of the ashes as they can be sucked into your mouth if the mouth hole on your pipe is big enough. But the good thing about this one is having tarry resin all over your fingers that wont wash off and sometimes you can accidentally get it on your clothing or belongings.
 
grab a paper clip or two and be ready to get your hands dirty

one more ting - use a plastic spoon to collect the resin on by rubbing it against the paper clip with the res on it after you pull it out of the bowl. it will harden up while on the spoon and lets you avoid having to touch it as much as possible

best way to get rid of the resin from you fingertips: hand sanitizer and hot water

If its a glass piece Isopropyl alcohol extraction is the cleanest and most efficient (you can get every last drop of resin out), but it can sometimes take a day or two to evaporate the alcohol depending on temp, humidity, airflow, and the strength of the iso.

You will need..

1. Strong Isopropyl alcohol: any off the shelf iso will work but its diluted with water which evaporates much slower than alcohol so if you can get 90% or higher iso its faster. Also the stronger iso will help dissolve the resin easier.

2. A large shallow glass dish with a nice flat bottom: I usually use a 13x9 glass cake pan.

3. A razor blade


Basically pour some iso into the pipe or bong or whatever your trying to clean, plug the holes, and shake it up. When the iso turns dark brown/black pour it out into the pan. If there is still more resin left in the piece just fill it up again and repeat as many times as necessary. Leave the pan somewhere with plenty of airflow to evaporate the alcohol away. Iso is toxic so make sure all the iso completely evaporates. Iso evaporates much much faster than water so when it looks like all the liquid is gone its probably fine but Id give it a few more hours to be sure. Its normal for the resin to be somewhat moist and sticky even after the iso is gone so don't panic about that. After the iso is gone just use the razor blade to scrape the pan.

Is it worth all that work/time IYO? I wrote this post a couple nights ago when I had no weed & hadn't for like 3 days because I lost my dealer because it was my bff's boyfriend & me And her got in a huge fight. And I've been having to get shit nics from the city because I haven't found a new bud dealer yet.
 
Depends I guess. I don't smoke anymore, but when I did I would never smoke resin unless I was really desperate. Id usually extract it whenever my piece needed to be cleaned anyway, then Id just store it all away for a rainy day.

Boiling water extraction IMO:

Immerse your pipe or bowlpiece in boiling water, and then strain the water through a coffee filter and scrape up the black stuff, let it dry, and then smoke it like you would hash.

I personally like to do quick iso wash on my resin, but that's not really necessary.

It tastes kinda janky but it does the job... sorta.
 
Heat one end and tilt the resin out as it gets hot and runs out the mouth of the pipe
