I have been taking benzos for the last 4 years (purely for anxiety related issues/fear of withdrawing) and I am absolutely sick of it. I pretty much have ketamine and buspirone at my disposal but still find it hard to completely get off benzos and the k itself is becoming an issue. I am a 24 y/o female, 97lbs. I was just introduced to buspirone and was told it could help me ween off of benzos.

I take around 2-3g of k a day which has helped lessen my intake of benzos (and alcohol) from around 3mg xanax and 2mg klp down to 1.5mg xanax 1mg klp/day. My tolerance to k has gone up significantly with my use of it the last 4 months. I am afraid if I stop my dose of benzos will go back up.

I smoke every night before bed to sleep (horrible insomnia) otherwise it makes me more anxious/depressed especially around other people (I am an empath) unless on k or drinking.

Any advice and suggestions as to how to get off benzos AND stop the ketamine use are appreciated and welcome!

Like said above taper off the benzos slowly and do the same with the K. Buspirone really isn't gunna compare to what you are on unless you snort 20 or 30 mgs. I have found taking it orally just will not help at all. Seroquil can help in low doses, you don't want to be a walking zombie all day. You may want to try Zyprexa in the morning and at night or Trazadone.

I used phenibut and kava kava I ordered online to help with klonopin withdrawels and while it didn't eliminate all symptoms, it did help quite a bit.

Phenibut and kava both are gaba receptor agonists like benzodiazepines so it should help some. The problem with phenibut tho is tolerance builds rather quickly.

Also I heard taking magnesium and zinc may help aid in the production of gaba so that might help aswell
