So iv looked online and got conflicting answers. Im using an insulin syringe if that helps with your answer. But anyway iv been told ill know when im in the vein because blood will go into the syringe. And please save me the warnings about not doing it. Iv shot up before but had others do it for me. But im wondering about the part when it comes to the cotton. I dont have balls of cotton but i read online i could rip the cotton off of the ends of q tips if i really needed too. Please help me out and give me some tips. I would really appreciate any tips. Sooner than later please im kindof on a time limit. Thanks guys

Are you sure you can't buy cotton anywhere? It's really easy to find.
Yes, when you register with the vein blood will indeed come into the syringe. If it shoots up will a lot of pressure/is dark, that means you've hit an artery, which is extremely dangerous and can lead to loss of limb etc - be VERY careful not to inject into arteries. If you feel a burning sensation, you've most likely missed your shot.
Basically, you've got your heroin in your spoon mixed with water (and ascorbic acid if necessary). Take a bit of cotton, like maybe the size of an overgrown tic tac, and put it in the heroin solution. Then stick the needle into the cotton ball and pull the plunger back slowly until all the heroin is in the syringe. Be safe, remember to start at a low dose, and test your H purity before injecting.

Normally i could but i really dont have the time right now. But okay awesome, i appreciate a straight up answer thanks. Oh one more thing, my buddy was talking about getting an extra small little shot out of the cotton that you just used to filter the previous shot?

Not sure what you mean...like getting two shots out of it? Well I suppose you could but 1. You do NOT want the heroin solution just sitting there and 2. That would imply you'd just dosed too much, and as demonstrated by 1. it's better to dose too little/just right so it's not gonna be waiting around. It's not as if the preparation is that long or difficult :)
Seriously though, do test the purity (eg through snorting) before shooting up, I can't stress that enough.

You don't have time to do an initial injection with a very small amount of the heroin in order to see how strongly it affects you? You should do this every time you get a new batch, it will save your life. Or did you mean you didn't have time to get cotton balls?

There are definitely better filters than cotton, (micron filters are the best, aka wheel filters or syringe filters; Sterifilt filters etc; even cigarette filters made for hand-rolling IMO), but cotton is still better than nothing if you can't/aren't willing to get a proper filter. As for getting the dope out of the cotton, draw up all the solution from the spoon/cooker/whatever through the cotton into the syringe, then add a little more water to the cooker and draw that up through the cotton. Do not save cottons for later use, that is a good way to get sick as bacteria can easily grow on them.

I strongly recommend you read some of the detailed threads we have on heroin and injection.

Do not save your cottons to try and get another shot out of them later. That's very nasty and you're shooting tons of bacteria directly into your vein.

Usually what I do to filter is I get a q tip pull some off n roll it tightly into a lil ball. Stick that on the needle n put in solution and pull back. If done correctly I get a light/clear yellowish liquid in the syringe. Sometimes though when ya put it in there the cotton expands and the needle tip will get directly in contact with the solution and won't filter. Be careful ya don't want that.

Also don't forget to use rubbin alc. I use the 91% isopropyl alc its the highest they got at the store. Be safe n have fun gettn fucked up haha.

the 91% isopropyl alc
If that's for sanitizing the skin you want 70% actually. It has been found to be much more effective in killing of bacteria.
The additional water slows down evaporation, and the alcohol has more time to react I believe.
I would still buy the highest you can get and dillute with distilled water.

use some type of clean cotton source since you don't have microns (most of us don't use microns I'd say). tear a piece about the size of half a match stick. tightly ball it up and drop it in your spoon. place tip of needle inside the cotton without going through and hitting the spoon (blunts the pin and doesn't provide adequate filtration). draw up solution by pulling back on the plunger slowly. if you start getting air in the syringe, stop pulling the plunger and spray a bit of the solution back into your spoon. you hit a clog and don't want it lodged in your needle. move the cotton and try drawing up from a different spot in the cotton. once all the solution is drawn up, drop a couple drops of water on the cotton and draw up the rest. discard cotton and wipe down spoon (both for sanitation and to eliminate paraphernalia). find a nice vein to use. if you have prominent surface veins don't use a tourniquet. rest arm on leg keeping it straight and observe your veins. wipe injection site with alcohol pad to sanitize. then inspect your needle tip and find the hole, should have the hole facing upwards so the point makes contact with skin first. slide needle into vein towards the heart with the needle entering at about a 45 degree angle. you should feel a slight pop like when getting your ears pierced. the needle should feel like its in a hollow spot with little resistance to changing depth and can be slightly moved around with ease. this is the first sign you are in a vein (veins are hollow as opposed to thick fleshy muscles/skin which you can feel a resistance when adjusting the needle for hand comfort). gently pull back on the plunger with your free hand. a small plume of blood should enter the syringe (reminds me of crimson ribbons or an atomic bomb mushroom cloud inside the rig). push the plunger gently and if you feel no pain, you're good to go. pain signifies you are missing or some is leaking out of the vein. if you are using a tourniquet, release it before injecting. if you are missing, pull needle out and try again. once injection is complete, slowly pull needle out of arm and cap it. put sterile cloth or cotton on the site and apply pressure if you begin to bleed until bleeding has stopped. dispose of your used syringe in a proper disposal box/container. if you smoke, light up a cigarette right after the shot and enjoy your rush and high... just don't burn anything when you start to nod. dispose of your sterile cotton or cloth used to stop bleeding in a proper way (separate plastic bag for biohazard disposal if you can).

One thing I really would like to stress is that if you are going to be injecting only use each needle ONCE. Needles are extremely cheap so there is no reason that you shouldn't be able to follow this advice, but if you don't which I'm sure a lot of people don't, make sure after you inject and you take the needle out that you rinse it with water. You can rinse it by drawing water into the syringe and shaking it around and then squirting it back out. Do this a few times to get rid of anything that may be left over in the syringe such as blood. If you don't you risk the blood coagulating and you certainly do not want to be injecting a blood clot into your veins. But honestly you should just safely dispose of the syringe after each use and use a new one every time. Be safe bro, happy rushing.

^Yeah, definitely. There really isn't any excuse for re-using syringes and OP, by using a new one each time you'll be avoiding soooo many of the dangers that come with IV use.
In the future, try to use a micron filter instead of cotton.
