Stimulants how to extract just the adderall salt out of capsul, any ways?

You guys are over thinking this. Try heating them in water to dissolve everything then get the solution really cold, *Without freezing it obviously*. A lot of the filler materials might hopefully congeal leaving the good stuff dissolved. Pour through a coffee filter. Let me know if it works. I don't do Adderall but have used used this process on other things. I think amphetamine salts will stay dissolved in cold water.

Just to continue with this frame of thought; I have taken up many pure dextro-amphetamine sulfate XR capsules with those little XR sugar-beads and suspended them among a saline/water solution and left them from anywhere from a few hours to a few days even. I have noticed that the longer they are exposed to a saline/water preparation they will start to become a very much more effective IR or instant drug assuming I plug the suspended contents after shaking. Of course though, just putting the beads in a solution of cola, orange-drink, or another acidic and very corrosive liquid I can have no certainty of if the molecules of amphetamine could even survive the ordeal and not just break back down into a more stable condition, but plugging a solution of 30mg d-amphetamine with cruished XR beads left in 2x3ml syringes to be plugged at a later point very much improved the rush, yet shortened the duration unfortunately.

Not that I recommend this, but one of the only ways to get a long-lasting amphetamine high no matter how it is prepared is via d,(l?)-meth-amp as it has a much longer baseline for how long it can affect your body before MAO re-uptake and evacuation from the body. Also, If I am correct, d,l-meth-amp is not lipo-phobic and thus would very easily be accepted into a suspension even for IV use compared to the hydro-phobic d-amphetamine sulfate.

So in your experienced opinion... when taken as prescribed (or not? Lol) did you prefer the 100% dextro or the racemic salts I.E. generic adderall? I ask bc, rn im on 20mg generic addy xr and a 5mg IR booster. This is my first script in 10yrs. I grew up with Shire name brand adderall and i LOVED IT...so ive been trying to get my script back and its taken me almost a decade and 7 different drs (whenever i get sick of one bc they wont listen and put me through the hell of ssris, ndris, non stim adhd meds, clonidine, etc. Every dr put me through the same shit bc they were to lazy to look at my med history, except that id been on SUBS ofcourse, which immediately scrubbed my chance). Anyway i e tried almost EVERY generic manufacturer and they arent even close to the OG formula. Im sure some of my disappointment is simply from investing to much in the nostalgia ive held for so long. But im very disappointed.
I say all that to say this...so i also have taken 100s of the brand name vyvanse over the years, but i DEFINITELY cant afford it and even generic lisdexamphetamine is pricy and apparently has the same subpar effects compared to the name brand. Anyway i just wonder if id react better, both just feeling good and helping my executive dysfunction, to dexadrine or generic dextroamphetamine better than the adderall. As i see NO NEED for a mixture such as it is, other than cost cutting by still having the same weight while simultaneously cutting the most active ingredients by containing both isomers of d-amp...which from a business pov was genius...but also EVIL as they cut the legs from underneath 100s of 1000s of patients that relied on the OG formula. But I just want the most effective chemical.
So my question is since vyvanse' unique mechanism of turning to d amp is, im just guessing here, pretty complex and isnt available to generics, which have an ALMOST identical technology of transformation, ALMOST being the key word as vyvanse still has the patent for its tech. So if the generic lisdexamphetamine isnt 100% as effective as its original. I just wonder since the dex is one chemical with NO FANCY magic ways to transform itself....i cant help but think that it alone would be less likely to suffer from vastly less effectiveness as vyvanse to lis and addy to generic mixed salts, respectively.

On that wouldnt you agree? In theory ofcourse as ive never had dexadrine or its generic.

So what did you prefer dex or addy?
Also have you tried elvanse or any of the few Amphetamine (and only amp) meds?
If i can get my dr to let me try dex im gonna do it...but im also tempted to ask about just pure amp meds. As it follows the same principle of it being so simple that the generic doesnt suffer as bad as the aforementioned meds. Tia

Hi, I'm soon to use some adderall 30 mg XR (orange ones with the salt balls inside) to get through a long day as I have not used it in a long time.

I was wondering if there is a method to crush the salts in the beads and to safely filter out most of the pill bindings/broken balls?

Maybe by using a coffee filter after crushing the salt balls, will it be a good enough way to get most of the salt instead of the icky broken ball residue away?

Sorry if this has been posted before, I used the search but nothing specific to this question really showed up.

First of all, I would think you'd want the extended-release capacity for a long day, but that's up to you in the end...

and secondly, as far as I know, the preparation for Adderall XR indicates that the time-release material is a homogenous mixture of the drug and the waxy binders, meaning that nothing short of a chemical extraction will accomplish what you're after. And chemically separating the amphetamine salts from the waxy, stubborn binder material is reportedly a fairly difficult thing to accomplish.

Simply crushing the balls and parachuting the powder will speed up the absorption to some extent; if you're set on making it as similar to the IR preparation, crushing them seems like your most viable option.
