How to easily extract dxm?

Hello, I am new to this forum but I have a few questions on extracting dxm. I have meijer brand day time cold&flu and was wondering what the easiest way to extract dxm from it? The active ingredients are acetaminophen, dxm, and phenylephrine HCI if that matters. Thanks, asharon

It's not going to be that easy. You're going to have to learn the solubility of each drug and how much of the solvent you're going to need to use. You would be better off buying a new bottle of cough syrup containing dextromethorphan hydrobromide. Preferably the ones that have 15mg/5ml

also suggest that you learn more about DXM before you take over 350mg of DXM, unless otherwise specified.

Tussin Cough Syrup- See sources section for DXM-only syrups. basically and cough syrup where the only active ingredient is Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (DXM HBr). Syrups containing Guaifenesin may also be used, but no other active ingredients should be present.

It's not going to work. :-\ This solution he has in his possession contains too much ingredients. phenylephrine I presume is water soluble, however acetaminophen and DXM is not. each ingredients vary on solubility

Yeah, it would take some complicated chemistry and would definitely not be worth it when you can just be a bottle of syrup that has DXM as the only active ingredient (in most countries AFAIK) for cheap.

Sucrets extraction is easy. I wouldnt ingest any substance where chemicals like ammonia and naptha were used to extract it. That's messed up.

Knew a friend who bought powdered DXM from those crazy websites, back when they existed.
Research Chemical sites, or something. Said it tasted like shit and didn't really work the same.
Maybe your brain needs all that sugar (in RoboMaxDM) to fuel the
...whatever the hell that drug does.

^Pure DXM is often poorly absorbed, dissolving it in PEG or a strong liquor should help.
