This summer, I went to my first rave, which was White Party. I took ecstasy for the first time as well and ever since, i'm in love with EDM and been wanting to go raving since. However, the rave I went to was in another country that I do not usually live in. So I'm back in Canada and literally all my friends are more into clubbing and house parties. When I suggest the idea of rave, they somewhat react negatively. One even said "nah that's some next level crackhead shit." lol, I just think he meant that there's too many drugs going on at that kind of scene.
Anyways, I don't want to go alone, just because I don't like the idea of going alone and I probably won't change my mind. I don't necessarily plan on doing ecstasy but I just like the music/light/atmosphere so much from that first time that it might give me a "mini-roll"
What can I say to convince him without really lying to them? Are raves fun for people who don't do E and don't listen to house music?
