How to clean a lightbulb vaporizer?

I've built myself a vaporizer using the old light bulb trick. Now what happens after I've vaporized some RC like JWH? Will there be remnants of the substance left in the bulb, and will it solidify again creating a hardened film stuck to the inner surface of the bulb? Will this need to be cleaned if I am to use the bulb again? If so, what's the best way to clean it?

Also, what's the best way to clean off the soot created by the flame? I don't suppose the soot has any significant effect on the RC itself, or how effective it is when taken, does it? In any case, I'm guessing it's a good idea to clean it off every once in a while at least. What's the best way to do that (i.e. any solvents? timing?).
 
I Always figured it'd be easier and cheaper to just make a new one..

Never really thought about cleaning them.
 
If you take some salt and rubbing alcohol and swirl them around inside of it, it will clean it off in less than thirty seconds.
 
I plan on posting a guide to making a lightbulb vape in the next few days if your interested, keep an eye out.
 
Don't thank me dude I didn't help shit, wish i'd have known about the rubbing alcohol + salt trick a few years ago though. Remember it taking the piss making a new one every couple of days..
 
1. About RCs in the vape, they'll leave residue but not much. I've noticed JWH leaving a slight yellowish residue but barely any, I never found it necessary to clean the JWH residue out of my "eucalyptus vaporizer" (meth pipe, same principle as the lightbulb), even when I was smoking it daily or almost daily.

2. Cleaning the vape- I've never cleaned a lightbulb vape because mine never got very dirty even with a lot of use. The salt + alcohol thing is what I use for all my pipes though, use rock salt or josher salt if you can, whatever the coarsest salt you can get it.

3. Soot from the lighter- you mean the black shit left on the underside of the bulb after having a lighter there? That stuff will just wipe off super easy, just wipe it down with some moist tissue paper. Moisture's often not even necessary, I often accidentally rubbed the soot off onto my pants.
 
An ex-crack head told me that he had seen lightbulbs explode in people's faces while they were smoking out of them.

Why don't you just buy a crack pipe?
 
That's just a risk you run.
And it's a lot harder to explain a fucking crack pipe as opposed to a lightbulb.. :|
 
To be fair keaton, you'll have aj ob explaining any smoking paraphanalia (sp? drunk) to someone who doesn't wamt to see that shit. Lightbulb or meth pipe still looks shady as fuck!

Using the correct light bulb can yield a fun, decent looking light bulb vape that certainly works - just not well. You have to be absolutely sure to use the correct bulb, not the one's coated in white, though if you pour salt into there it rubs right off. I used JWH in mine a lot, if you using top end product, it will not leave much behind other then a puddle.

My advance, create a removable light bulb cover, and use a new light bulb. Cleaning them out requires nothing but sand, rubbing alcohol, and diligence, the same way any piece would. I would just grab another one instead.
