how to avoid being ripped of purchasing acid

Thank's for your response. Quite frankly i don't care if you would buy acid at a rave or not, i know there is a chance of getting bunk hits. That' a risk im going to take, in the past raves my friends have had no problem with bunk hits. Same as bunk pills i havent had a bunk pill in almost 6 months and that was outside of a rave. This is why im only buying 1 hit :D acid here where i live is really bunk acid.
 
^agreed lol, if you've never tripped it's pretty hard to imagine what you are about to get into if you get a decent dose.
 
Bitter blotter myth

The idea that bitter blotter necessarily isn't LSD is a myth born of wishful thinking. This has been discussed here before, and many trippers, including myself, have related stories of bitter blotter that had an onset profile, duration, and qualitative effects that could really only be LSD. The taste most likely comes from unreacted or improperly separated synth precursors, namely clavines and iso-LSD to my knowledge. These impurities are very unlikely to make any difference to the quality of the trip however, because neither of these are active at the levels they're present on blotter (I know for sure iso-LSD has been isolated and used in high levels with no effects, and there's no reason I know to think clavines are active). All that matters in any kind of double-blind verifiable kind of way is the quantity of LSD per blotter. Erowid reports that actual chemists have told them they will put the same concentration of LSD on different paper and people come back demanding one print over the other because they think it's so much more "pure." But it's just individual variations in the person between trips and nothing more.

All of this means that there's often little you can do in practice to prevent being ripped off. If you can, buy a small sample and have the dealer hold on to the rest that you want. Getting it through the mail isn't that common but if you can do it a retailer with a good reputation in certain online forums is often a lot more reliable than street dealers. If a moderate dose comes on fast and lasts 8-10 hours then you've almost certainly got LSD. However, those same experienced trippers I mentioned before reported delayed durations and increased lengths of activity from the same blotter that other times came on and lasted the expected time. In short, you CAN'T know without trying it and getting lucky with regard to experiencing the expected onset time and duration or testing it (or knowing the damned chemist). Sorry, but the truth is things that superficially appear to be LSD are pretty easy to rip people off with, and lots of assholes know it.

if its good cid ur not going to feel those x tabs lol- or want to be in that loud ass rave, , i drank 10 beers on cid , never felt any of em lol, -lil wyte im on acid - song its true though , do anything on acid u wont feel anything but the cid

we'll see once i drop :D didn't mean to come across like a asshole thanks everyone for youre help ill update once ive dropped next day if possible. hopefully im not naked running through the rave until security tazers my ass and sends me to the e.r
 
Know and trust your connections, failing that, develop a sixth sense about people you are dealing with, and come off knowing what you are talking about (but without coming off like an arrogant know it all, as you just did a few posts above, no offense, brah), and you will probably be okay if the party is a halfway cool one.

And there has been LSD put out on blotters printed with bitter ink. But there has also been non-bitter non-LSD put on a variety of blotters, bitter and not. The only way to know, short of actual quantitative analysis, is by knowing your sources and knowing your drugs.

I hope i can keep some sort of log while im on it to make a experience report, i don't know if i'll be able to. At this moment in time im just questioning whether i should go to the bigger outdoor rave, or to a shorter / smaller 6 hour rave which i know for sure will be better vibes just what the hell am i gonna do after :D be stuck in a car for a hour drive back home to also afterwards.

I would do the shorter, smaller rave.

If the car is gonna be crowded i would pack something to take the edge off, otherwise it would probably a beautiful ride back...
 
Buy a Blacklight keyring, only about 10 bucks but really good for looking at bottles of "acid", trust your instinct & gutfeeling about people though - you'll usually know...but look out for people who shake your hand with 2 hands the first time you meet em - trust me ;)
 
hey thanks for the reponse, what do i need the blacklight for? i have a uv microlight :D how can i identify acid with a blacklight? but i am probably not going to find liquid acid, it will probably be blotter cause if someone tells me anything other then blotter/acid im not going to accept it. i laugh when people say they're selling mollies with lsd/mdma
 
This thread suggests the black light thing is yet another myth born of wishful thinking. Don't go screaming at your dealer because you don't see it glowing. It could cause problems. I'm guessing it came from some time a scam artist probably put white blotter under a black light, saw it glow, and concluded that proved the veracity of LSD to his dumb customers.
