How soon after taking 65mg and 75mg D-Amp would it be safe to take Propranolol?

I am well informed of the effects that Propranolol has on people who are high on amphetamines and start mixing the two. Thats not why I am here asking. What I am asking is how long after sustaining from the DAMP high would it start to become safe to take it. So, as an example, I took 75mg Damp at exactly 12:05am last night. As of this time, it has been a whole ten hours since I have touched any amphetamines. Would I be safe at this point considering I have waited so long or should I give it a few more hours? I plan on taking it for my blood pressure. Even though I took 4.5mg Lorazepam, 22.5mg Zopiclone and 1,000mg L-Theanine my heart is still raising above my comfort level.

Anyways, back on subject, I would really appreciate any logical answers. I have taken Propranolol after sustaining for 14 hours so I know that this can be done right.

I would just like to see other users on this sites opinions.

I wouldn't risk it for another day or so. Stick with the Gabapentin, it will help.

Thanks for merging the post for me. And yes, I don't plan on taking the Propranolol any time soon as I just took 115mg Dextroamphetamine. I will most definitely be using the Gabapentin later though, I am quite curious to see how well its going to work.

If taken before dosing it can cause fatal cardiac events and it blocks all the effects, yes. But its somewhat safe to use AFTER the high is done, many hours later as something to help with the increased blood pressure amphetamines cause.

I think it's safe, it should slow your heart rate down and a tad bit of excess blood pressure.

It only seems that way. Taking them together is actually highly dangerous. Propranolol blocks the Alpha receptor which leaves the Beta receptor to do all the work that the amphetamine is putting on your body. It causes a massive spike in blood pressure (usually no spike in heart rate because when blood pressure gets too high the heart intentionally slows itself down) and can easily lead to a fatal heart attack.. Please, do not ever take these two together.

Yeah. On the odd time that benzos don't completely fix the cardiovascular issues I will take 10mg no less than 14 hours after my high finished. Usually fixes everything right back up.
