How smoking affects study

^ well you are in the USA which I heard has a terrible education system haha .

And nice to accounting guy . Im considering taking accounting in uni. Would you reccomend it ?

Yea man go for it, it's not that hard but you gotta pay attention if you don't understand one thing you won't understand the next one, since if builds up on it. I basically don't really gotta worry bou college much tho

I am in Highschool now and smoke around 4 times a week. I am a crazy good student considering the other drugs I do as well. I am an IB Diploma candidate and my GPA is 4.4 (yes I know it is above a 4). I am taking 2 online math classes plus what I am doing in school.

Holy shit it is hard when I am stoned. I can't focus 1 bit.

But then again I am taking so many hard courses that I often get stressed... and I think we all know what cures stress.

So basically my smoking doesnt directly help me academically but since I mainly do it after school I am doing just fine

For those people at uni/college or whatever, how does smoking affect your study and just uni in general. Particularly those doing science/maths based courses.

I do engineering and sometimes I think that regular smoking slows me down, though sometimes it doesn't seem to. I also find it sooo much easier to stay in bed and skip class the morning after a sesh. But mainly I'm asking how being stoned regularly affects your analytical/logical thinking.

I don't smoke really heavily compared to some of you I probably vary between a couple of days a week to everyday some weeks mostly at night time before i go to bed. Also I'm not talking about studying while you're stoned, just say does smoking regularly in your free time make you more scattered or not able to think as clearly the rest of the time.

So:
How often do you smoke, what do you study and how does smoking affect
your learnings?

I'm in 10th grade, but I guess it's close enough. For a 3 week period, I smoked every single day. At first, it made me really groggy and tired in the morning. My first few periods of the day were really hard. It still makes me somewhat groggy, but not enough to throw me off or make me lose focus.

I got mostly 90's and 100's before I started smoking a lot. Nothing has changed.

However, I don't study. I've studied maybe two times this entire year. I just don't need to. But if you're someone who does, I would imagine that it would interfere with studying, and your grades would decrease as a result. Then again, that's merely a hunch.

I'm probably not of much help, considering I'm a double major in Art History and Photography. I do not find that weed negatively affects my studies because I have worked hard this past semester and received good grades, all the while smoking weed daily. I often even smoked about an hour before some of my classes, and I didn't find it to be a disruption. If anything, pot has positively affected my education because it gives me relief from all the stress that comes with university work.

^ yes exactly .

I think that it depends on the class you are taking . something like art or photography would exactly be hard where something like math and algebra would be hard as fuck .

... Also depends on the person
