About a month ago I got my hands on some mescaline HCL.

It's been in a baggy the whole time and kept in a small box in a drawer under my bed.

I don't think it has degraded in any way yet. Only a week ago I took 350mg by myself and it was a pretty powerful and visual experience. It's been kept in the same conditions since then.

I've been trying to find out how stable mescaline is. But I can't find any answers. If I leave the powder in a baggy in a box under my bed, will it degrade in any way? Or should I invest in an air-tight jar and wrap it in foil?

Any help is much appreciated :)

Phenethylamines are generally very stable, so it's probably fine. If you'd rather be safe than sorry then you should put that baggie with a desiccant (silica gel, like you get with shoes or whatever) inside an air-tight vial in your freezer. Or you could go ghetto, put that baggie in a few baggies and fill the last baggie with rice. When you take it out then you should wait for it (the vial or the baggies) to reach room-temperature, because of condensation.

If you need more info then check the B&D

Thanks! I think I'll try out the non-ghetto option...just got to find me some of them silica gel packets.

yea find a few old boxes of shoes and i bet you will find one, esp if they are leather shoes. or you could put it in a bag and then mail it to me. id watch it.

The baggy is fine. Mescaline has been found surviving in several thousands of years old samples of cacti / sacraments or something like that.

that's pretty much all there is to say about mescaline stability I guess.
