"How Safe Are My Drugs" BBC3 doc

Who's this chap, and does anybody know what drug he's referring to??

She also meets Dr Zee - the man who invented legal highs, who claims he's invented a new drug that he says 'has all the fun, but none of the risk'. Is he right?

Cheers Si, I'll give it a watch later.. If its the DJ im thinking of i may struggle to watch it as her voice really gets on my nerves.. :D

"it's best not to read the label"... riiiight...

Just getting to this bit. It's Dr Z from Israel again, Mephs daddy... It's a brand new drug she's being encouraged to try...

That's her.

she lightens up for a bit . . .

the doc is worth watching despite her, pretty good HR angles through the second half. Lots of worrying drugs use in the first half. Quite nicely done, not perfect but not bad. WHP makes an appearance or two.

she had a gram and a half of aMT? jesus christ, that can't be right.

He draws a few chemical structures on a whiteboard that I don't recognise...

A friend told me about this, but only right after it finished. I'm going to look it up on iPlayer tonight.

That chef is nuts, but he was playing up for the camera though, there is no way you wont feel like death after that

Did they look like fun structures without any risk though?? :D

I'm not sure any of those exist, but they looked like some kind of serotonergic stims, possibly fun ones. Somebody who knows something about chemistry should pause it & tell us what they are. Bit shocked they're not already on some RC site, backstreet chemists need to pay more attention.

Recently reading bluelight has shown me another insight in harm reduction. If you want to drugs to be really safe. You should hide them in your candy cabinet.

Makes me shudder and hammers home that Bluelight has those that continue to bang on that it encourages drug use and is triggering (usually by those sticking a straw in a bottle of gin..cause that's safer right??? :|) BUT that versus when I first came across say crystal MDMA in the mid 90s and had no idea how much you should take...and took half a gram with a lot of vodka..scariest night of my life. With the quality of cocaine and other 'old skool' drugs deteriorating and the prices inflating for your g of 'safe' lidocaine mixed with worming powder it's inevitable the younger and the older of us, who are drawn to experimenting, using, abusing and being addicted will try new chems..I really am getting a bit fed up of of people on Bluelight putting it down and suggesting harm reduction is absent here..

People will continue to take drugs..FACT...any open discussion and safer dosage suggestions can only be a good a thing..end of rant.

Was anyone else absolutely fuming and shouting at the telly?
I couldn't help myself but make cheeky remarks to an inanimate object 8)

For a cwazy lady she sure does speak alot of sense =D<3

Edit.... i did point my finger a couple of times as i lifted off my seat to raise my voice at the telebox:D

I am laid up in bed with flu and I am slightly riled....all in all a pretty good doc really/ If only this type of programme was aired in schools...BBC asked me if I was over 16 before I could view it. That skanky British Ibiza dealer who states if he knew he had a bad batch of shizzle he would still bang it out on the street as he can't afford to lose his money...someone with the skills (i.e not me-I have just upgraded my speak and spell to a BBC computer) needs to get a still of that man's ugly mug and we need a name and shame thread...P.S these sudafed extra are good shit maan..make you a lil cwazy and ranty though!
