How safe are dxm binges?

I recently obtained a handful of 500mg pure dxm capsules. It's now Monday. I have taken one each previous night for the weekend just past (friday saturday sunday) and have had extremely satisfying trips to say the least. I've been eating and sleeping fine, experienced stronger afterglows each day especially today when in combination with cannabis. How safe or harmful exactly is binging on dxm? I'm considering tripping again tonight, did some extensive researching but couldn't find anything straight forward and to the point regarding daily/nightly binges of dxm.

Not really that safe. You'll most likely be fine, especially if its powder. Watch for a psychotic break though.

Binging on any dissociative will bring about negative effects. The most obvious I noticed back when I experimented with DXM was a sense of cognitive impairment. Then came the loss of magic which resulted in having to take more DXM to achieve the same high as before. Tolerance resulted in the negative side effects, such as nausea, becoming more prominent and eventually the experience just wasn't fun anymore.

Wasn't there this tactic to dose on consecutive days to achieve Plateau Sigma (because of the accumulation of the DXO(?) or sth)

But I think you have to take higher doses then each time. However I think it is not so safe either.
Just take a break and your next trip will be much more satisfying :)

Yes, this is true.

But I think the serotonin overload leaves normal reality looking like a black or white movie. :(
I had horrific cluster headaches after a month of 'abuse'. That and all that sugar, can't be good for you...
but I think the brain lesions thing was disproven right?

Ended up having a day off then dosing again. It put me in slow mo, I couldn't talk properly almost like I was really drunk or something. Was getting weird visuals, certain objects in my visual field would move back and forth at different rates, like my depth perception was messed up. Still have a strong afterglow today. It's a very powerful substance when pure.

Binging on any drug is not a good idea.

Are things as bad as we thought they might be in the late 90s (WW papers and all that jazz) Maybe not... but one should not make a habit of abusing any substance.
