How real are MDMA cognitive effects if I take sensible doses and pair with neuroprotective supplements (e.g. RollSafe regime)?

I've taken the drug four times now, waiting a month+ in between (aware that the gold standard is three months, but what reading I've done suggests that this may be a slightly overly-generous margin in terms of preventing physical harm, which is what I'm most worried about). Was a little silly with my dosing the first couple of times but have now settled into a pattern of a roughly 120mg dose and then a redose at half that, and I take the full gamut of neuroprotective supplements that they recommend on RollSafe.

My understanding is that this should be fairly safe/sustainable, and that the supplement regime at that dosage should prevent any real permanent cognitive damage, but I'd be interesting in hearing firsthand experiences of similar use over a longer term. Would prefer not to boil my brain, would also prefer to ideally be able to use this substance at a similar cadence for potentially multiple years. It's an extremely beautiful substance.

Just browsing on here I see plenty of fairly crazy stories from users sporting bizarre conditions after taking high doses (LTCs? Is there any actual science here or is this anecdotal?). Ironically that sounds more similar to my own experience after overdosing on speed, which gave me recurrent heart palpitations that have been ongoing for a while. But I also am fairly certain that this does not represent a typical experience with molly (I've never had any issues with it triggering anything problematic in and of itself).

Hello, I don't use E's or any stim for that matter, but, I'm from the early rave days in the UK 1990-93.
I always found taking pills as they were in those days, best if taken at once, I remember having a feeling I was getting less out of a pill at someone's house after a club, I used to triple drop sometimes and was messy for a bit (parking the car in bushes, trying to insert pound coins into some bloke thinking he was a fag machine etc) but always wound up with a good night and no feelings of wanting to re dose.
I think redosing leads to the insomnia and shitty feeling the next day.
If you are up all night, have a bowl of cereal at the start of your come down.

Take care.

I would consider myself fairly experienced with MDMA in both pill and crystal form. As far as the three months things go I believe that is beyond generous. At my worst (when I had access to large quantities 285-325mg pills from my onion patch) I was rolling pretty much every weekend without any supplement regime. I did start to burn out after about 1.5-2mo and tolerance did become a slight bitch especially if I got fiendy and redosed. Good news is I bounced back fairly quickly.

Looks like your max dose is around 200mg which is definitely a safe dose (I probably should not admit my max dose.....). Again as far as neurodegenerative effects against a supplement regime I have no clue. However, I would say a month +/- a week would be safe. I was using more than you, more frequently, and without any kind of "protective" supplement regime; at most electrolytes, vitamin c, plenty of water/food, and most importantly rest. I'm still here without any cognitive or neurological issues caused by MDMA usage.

But again everyone is different in how chemicals affect them. This will take some experimentation and documentation. I would be really interested to see you do a sort of self study and report back!

One other thing, TEST YOUR PRODUCT EVERYTIME (dance safe sells full reagent test kits if you do not already have one always splurge for the full reagent kit). You sound like you've got a decent head on your shoulders so I hope that goes without saying but it is wild what gets passed off as MDMA these days.

If you are going to end up with "regimen" with like one month interval or like, I would suggest taking occasional longer break-like half a year. I have found this to be generally smart tacticool move with drugs that do not cause strong dependence, to just occasionally forget their existence.
