So I don't see a chemistry sub-forum so I'm putting this here: I'm not gonna disclose the company or which site, but I found some 222-trichloroethanol (knockout drops) which seems to have very little effect on the liver and most other organs. I'm probably gonna order it and drink it. There are no other ingredients, but some of you more smart than me, what might be used to synthesize this? I know chloroform is one of the precursors, but I guess I'm just asking if there's probably left over formaldehyde in what I intend to consume. Thanks and much love.

sounds trippy ! I'm older than my youth and no longer have my first tripping partner or i would try something if i had some of those smart people you talk about that say it's ok

I've tried chloral hydrate before and dislike this drug. It's not worth wasting your money.

You can get much better drugs now days.

EAB is a colorless, transparent liquid with a fruity aroma. EAB is a good muscle relaxant, anesthetic and sleeping agent, and it is safer and more effective than traditional drugs for treating sleep disorders (such as barbiturates and γ-hydroxybutyrate, etc.). Patents such as US4,599,355 and Can.1,263,843 have described in detail the pharmacological efficacy of EAB and its similar compounds.
It can slowly hydrolyze in the body to exert its efficacy, so it is safe and durable. Large doses can last for more than 12 hours. without poisoning. EAB has also been found to inhibit the release of dopamine in the brain and is therefore a potential drug for anti-Parkinson's disease, anti-schizophrenia and anti-psychotics.

I know. I fucking love the retardation of barbiturates and this is the closest I can seem to find. I appreciate your concern but I know how dangerous the itself drug is, was just wondering about contamination. Thank you though. This should probably should be pinned on this thread for the fifteen year olds looking for a legal anesthetic in a couple years. Look elsewhere. You've probably still got whipped cream. Don't be like me.

This is very cool and likely safer. However upon inspection of most sites, without giving names or actual prices, depending on the dosage (which is?), it seems to be a bit more pricey.
Anyway, I ended up ordering chloral, and it gets here Thursday. If it sucks having knockoutdrops around forever might be useful.

If you want a drug that is most similar to barbiturates I know of an online pharmacy that is supplying primidone (Mysoline, Abbott).

It is sold in 250mg tablets which is a heavy dose to someone with no tolerance. It's very long lasting.

My current stash only includes amitriptyline but I know z-drugs such as zolpidem are increasingly popular.

Purity of a reagent should be specified. It's unlikely that a producer will sell small quantities. They tend to sell in bulk and it's usual for buyers to require a COA (independent certificate of analysis).

There are a few odd psychoactives that have fallen out of use in most nations but which still appear to be available in a few places. I'm old enough to remember when chlormezanone was listed in the BNF as an anxiolytic/muscle relaxant. I checked the patent on the stuff and was surprised that so little work was publiched on the QSAR. It almost seemed like the one compound was found most active and only that one compound was patented.

It would be remarkable for someone to have a leat-to-hit success-rate of 100% so I concluded that the research was never published.

It's known to have a rare but serious side-effect but was in use for decades, so I conclude it's potential risk could only be seen using statistical analysis.

There are a few others - mostly downers.

Clomethiazole (Heminevrin/Nevrin) is still used medically - but it's now a prescription only medication. The immediate precursor is used in the perfume industry tut chlorination of a primary hydroxyl requires common if expensive/nasty reagents and a lot of solvents. In short - you couldn't make it at home unless you are happy for each dose to cost a lot.
