Vomiting seems to be kind of a myth, because even LSD is known to cause DMT-type purging. Mescaline also has a reputation for producing a purge and look what Myron J. Stolaroff says about it.
every time I eat a decent amount of really good clean needlepoint it makes me nauseous and sometimes like said above "purge". although that's only the first hour into the experience and only with high quality stuff. just because everything feels kind of shakey. im not too fond of comeups on any drug in particular, after I start peaking though everything is just gravy

In a total of 42 treatments, vomiting was experienced three times. (p. 583)

Charles Savage was convinced—this the first real argument I had with him—that mescaline was an emetic. I said, "No, it's not an emetic. It's just that people get into things that make them sick. But if the experience is conducted right, that can be avoided and those things resolved without their throwing up." Well, he didn't agree with me, but I don't think we ever had a person throw up, in all our foundation's work.
