He knows the age Jesus died. I'm sure he'd have us all believe he was the second coming but we all know this is not true.

Or did you mean that drugs are good for you bit? I'd have thought being a BL'er for 2 years now you would know the benefits of drug abuse ;)

I never laid claim to be being the second coming of Jesus. Elijah maybe, but never Jesus.

What's wrong with reading the Bible? Plenty of chuckles in there, lad.

Jonah? I'm not going throught that rigmarole!

Can I be Enoch for a bit, disappear into the sky and be Metatron thereafter?

Ok Ill be Michael :)

Oi anyway.. I love Elijah.. I just cant see how you identify with him from what I know of you.. You appear to be
really hedonistic.. Elijah was really ascetic.

Edit.. Sorry I said that actually.. I think weve all got an Elijah.. but also Jez 8o and shes a bleeder.

sorry rockstar, I was referring to the post above yours, how does he know he has the organs of an old man....believe me, I know the benefits of drug use....and the pitfalls of alcohol abuse.

Think Burroughs was in Tangiers in 1950 something... I may be old but I ain't prehistoric.

Burroughs was there on and off for most of the 50s, Bowles lived in Tangiers until he dies about 10 years ago, I remember reading an interview with him not long before that.

Paul Bowles was a Tangier institution; he could never understand why Burroughs and the rest preferred to live in the U.S. A hopeful Moroccan would stand on the corner of the street he lived and offer to show tourists the great man's house.for 2 dirhams or a personal introduction for 20; I don't think there was a lot of money around the household. There was some complex story about his wife, the maid and lesbian sorcery, the lot of them were as bent as nine bob notes and, in an old-fashioned way, as decadent as they come. He was as old as the hills when I was there...at his best, he's a terrific writer.

I live in the UK but I'm not British... the ratio of 40-49 EADD Bluelighters is quite impressive.
Must have been all those Summers of Love between '88 and '92

if we're claiming religious/bible characters, then I wanna be Judith.
might be a little bit too old school tho.
