How often do you think authoritive figures go to Bluelight to bust people?

You don't have to specifically post your address, they'll get it if they really want it.

Shit, just use common sense and stay as anonymous as possible. You'll be alright.

First rule of BL meetups, dont talk about BL meetups:D
The second rule of BL meetups is you do NOT talk about BL meetups. (I fucking love that film.. :D:D:D)

anyways, I'm sure they check occasionally (see pm's asking to buy rolls) but if you're careful enough and smart enough, I doubt they are going to chase you down for a few grams or something..

I hate "SWIM"

Everytime I see "him" I get instantly angry.

If you think what you are about to say is so incriminating that you have to hide behind this "alter-ego" then maybe those thoughts should just remain inside if your head.

Rant over.

;)

I would say that it would be pretty darn rare, if anything at all has ever happened. I think posting pictures of large quantities quantities or money ( or guns) poses a threat. I think it would be especially rare if people are using proxy servers, along with adequate firewall protection.

Who is swim, just signed up here recently. If it's in a previous forum I searched and just saw a Green lighter posting with SWIM in red highlight over and over about crazy ass drugs. haha enlighten me please.

Swim is used in an attempt to hide your identity. Here is an example:

"SWIM took 10 tabs on E on Saturday night, what are the negative effects?"

So rather than saying "I took 10 tabs..." they are making some lame ass attempt at covering up the fact that they are talking about themselves. Some people think that posting this way will actually get them out of potential legal trouble. Sadly this is just not the case.

I think the use of the word swim should be banned. It's pointless.

I was just giving an example of the context that swim is used. I didn't mention anything about rationality. Admitting you took 10 pills may not get you in trouble, but not everyone has that mentality, some people could possibly think that it would. Therefore in their mind it would justify the use of the term swim.

A better example would be "SWIM has just bought a big bag of pills which he's going to sell at a rave this weekend". It would be stupid to say that "I am going to sell drugs", so people say "SWIM is going to" as a way of supposedly avoiding legal risks. As others have said, it's stupid because everyone knows that they really mean "I".

Well, I would say that you are wrong. And I've been here 6 years and you've been here about three months.

It has happened. People have had the cops turn up at their house purely because of posts they have made here.

In another country, one person was asked by the cops if he had any aliases. he said no, and they looked at him and wrote down his BL screen name.

i imagine they're trying to target dealers rather than addicts or occasional recreational users, though the possession is just as illegal (well, plus "intent to distribute", yea yea yea)... it wouldn't be worth their time to locate someone who might have something, but had probably taken it by the time they get there :P

someone who's here looking for help, like if they say "i have a good supply of xxxx right now and am struggling to not do it but can't get rid of it, need the comfort of having the stash just in case...." that kind of thing..... that'd be such a dick move to try and bust someone for that, and wouldnt it just go thru court where, when presented with evidence that's really a cry for help, they'd most likely just get sent to rehab anyway?

unless you're trying to get customers over the internet there shouldn't be reason to advertise large quantities of anything in your possession. if you're doing that enough to call that much attention to yourself, you'll get the attention you want all right...

this is my guess, im not saying anything is actually how it is, it's just what seems logical to me but i've never heard for sure...

mehehehe, then Swim won't mind being called "Wifey" at his new concrete mansion...

Do you think they could get probable cause and a warrant to tap someone's phone for what they've said here? If so, anyone know what might be considered pc for that?
