How often do you redose opiates in the day?

Need more info, what do you mean "in the day?"

Are you asking how many times a day do we use, or day versus night?

Question feels a little vague.
 
i used to dose 30mg oxycodone/roxi (intranasally) at 530am.
(first thing after waking up to get me going for school)
then around 1-2pm i would redose with another 60mg orally.
(when school got out. i never dosed in between because i rotate in hospitals for school and didn't want to be fucked up there)
after that, any following redosing varied day to day and was always intranasal, but i limited myself to150mg. it really depended on how well off the 60mg dose got me and how high i wanted to be at any given time.
(sometimes as early as a half hour after the 60, sometimes as late as 4 hours after)
 
If i'm out and about for the day then i'll do 90mg codeine when i wake up. 60mg at lunchtime, another 150mg in the evening.
If i'm at home all day i'll just take 300mg first thing in the morning then top-up 30mg ish every few hours.
 
what opiate are we talking about? for me i started taking 50mg of codeine at midnight and it is now 415 in the am. I started with 50mg, 30 min later i took another 50mg, and at 2am i took another 50mg. strange how codeine keeps me awake
 
I would say every 2 hours I redose since I just took another 50mg. Still trying to sleep, i could pop some benzos....

I wish I had some promethazine syrup so i could crush these pills up and make my own lean
 
I take 30-40mg (oxycodone IR)right away in the morning (after I 'use the bathroom in the morning courtesy of stool softeners, until about 9pm at which point I switch to benzos and fall asleep), and redose as I notice myself start to sweat. This is usually about every 4 hours. Usually 15mg at a time sometimes followed by another 15. Therefore, I'd say 30mg every 4 hours. Every day same thing. Strangely, I always have extras at the end of the month. Surplus is always nice ;)

With heroin, now a days, I always try to make sure I get 2 shots out of whaever. I'll do the majority of it in the first shot, get a great rush. Then sometime later I'll do the "cap" (I mix up the dope in a bottle cap usually), and then I do that.

Most often just enough to make sure I can go to sleep.

Ha! Me too. 5mgs Oxycodone in the morning, 5mg late afternoon, 10mg evening. Sometime I skip the morning and afternoon dose if I don't need it.
 
5 mgs in the morning of hydroC, then before a go to work at night another 5mgs then around 4 am 5 mgs. This varies from on my days off.. to when i work
 
It depends on how my day goes. If I start the day early, I do 30mg (nasal) when I get up. A few hours later prob +4hrs, I will take my "big dose" which is 60-90mg (oral). Then the remainder of the day, I do 1/4-1/2 pills (nasal) sporadically until bed.

When my day begins later, I will skip my mini dose and go straight into 60-90mg (oral), and then dose the remainder of the day (nasal) 1/4-1/2 pill at a time, sporadically and with no time-frame until bed.

My "big dose" is always orally. Always.
