How often do you get your hair cut?

That seems very practical. I normally do it every couple of months.
It actually makes me feels good and relaxed.

For the last 10 years or so, I've charged my clippers up every spring and shaved it all off, no grading on the clippers. This means I get a good range of lengths over the course of the year, and I have a good amount of extra insulation come the winter. Never really been bothered enough by how I look to spend more than ten minutes or so a year cutting my hair (which probably explains why I'm single).

Last time my hair was cut was a few months back. Somewhat unusually by somebody in the general vicinity of this thread as it happens. Prior to that I usually do it myself but hadn't done for a couple years at least. Prior prior to that then Mrs Shambles would give it a trim now and then. Such is the joy of long hair. It's not a fashion statement by any means for me - simply the most practical trichologistical solution for the least practical man about town.

Incidentally, I discovered a new (to me) STD whilst looking up the above word I didn't recall well enough to have been able to make use of without looking it up. Every day a school day.

I can't remember when I last got my haircut... I guess probably at the end of June. Just about needing it trimmed again, although I really can't be bothered.

If it wasn't for my hair loss, I'd leave it much longer between cuts but I suspect only Bill Bailey can pull off that particular look, not that I have an actual bald patch (yet) but... ;)

Terry Nutkins (RIP) was the only person who could truly pull off that look, imo.

Clippers on number 1 every few weeks/months, whenever it starts getting too messy, and/or when I'm wired all night with nothing else to do. Probably due for one now...

Whenever my wife pesters me enought that I give in and let her do it, which is usually about 2-3 months. Which is silly really, because it always looks really good for a couple of weeks after she's done it. Having to do anything that involves sitting still and not moving for 15 minutes seriously puts me off. Last time I went to an actual barber he did the shaved parts mega short. And the mrs is going away this week and said to me "If you go to a barber while I'm away, don't let them do a number 2 on your head."

She was totally straight faced.
I wasn't. :D
