how much xanax to be able to fall asleep on lsd?

about how much xanax would i need to take to end my trip and fall asleep? wanna trip later but dont wanna lose a ton of sleep, its 150ug of L.
 
This doesn't really work, unless you wait until the trip is already more or less over, and you're just dealing with the lingering trippiness say, 7+ hrs after dropping it. In that case, assuming you have no benzo tolerance, .5mg, maybe 1mg might be appropriate, if you frequently take benzos, you'd need a higher dose. If you take it earlier, you'll just be high on xanax while tripping (resulting in a much shallower trip - can be fun sometimes) - I've taken xanax and other benzos with psychedelics, and until you're well into the comedown, they won't let you sleep.

Trip another time, if you don't have long enough to devote to tripping tonight.

you could trip through the night and stay awake through the day, then pass the fuck out about 7pm
 
LSD isn't impossible to sleep on in the first place.. So I don't really understand why you would need the assistance from the Xanax. It's really just about self-control. If the mind is intent on sleep the body won't get in the way. It does take some time before you can just be like 'well this was fun no it's time for bed' but practice makes perfect.
 
At about +14 hours on my last LSD trip, I took two valium tablets because the trip was going longer than I expected and I couldn't sleep, and passed out mid-conversation. Hope that helps - I know it's not Xanax though and I'm not sure how many mgs there are to a pill.
 
Yes the 0.5mg to 1mg sounds appropriate though for sleep I would really say it will probably be the 1 mg that really does it, especially if it needs to counteract residual trip stimulation. But sublingual (dissolve under the tongue) benzo's works so so fast, if anything xanax may even one of the fastest ones IME, that this rough indication will be enough for you to immediately see where it lands you. So no reason why you shouldn't just start with the 0.5 and work your way up until you feel it's quite enough.
