Opioids How much to take.. Oxy vs Morphine.

Okay. Ive been taking about 15-20 ml of oxycontin. Thats my perfect area to stop.

I got my hands on a 100mg Morphine Sulfate SR.

What size bumps should i be doing.... ? to get the same effect as explained above.


And yes im snorting.

i searched many things in google to find this but couldnt pinpoint it.. help please!

Take half the pill (50mgs). Also I would highly suggest not snorting it due to its very low bioavalability. Eating it will do you much better.

I usually triple the mgs of morphine I take compared to oxy. I take 100mgs of oxy, and 300mgs morphine orally gets me to around the same place, although I don't find morphine to be as euphoric but rather noddy at the end.

Morphine usually takes a while to hit, so don't redose thinking its not working.
 
They say that snorting the morphine sulfate has a low bioavailability but I don't really find that to be true. The first time I did one I was usually doing 2 80's and I got my first morph 100 and snorted it and I was tore down. And yes morphine will give you the nods bad but thats what I like. But if it's your first time with anything always start small to be safe, know your limits. Only do half if you snort it then wait an hour and see how you feel. Morphine isn't as strong as Oxy Mg wise but it last much much longer.
 
We don't allow these self-serving threads and you could *easily* find the information using our directory and looking at the bioavailability mega thread and the narcotic converters that we link to. Its a very simple calculation taking into account equianalgesic ratios for known routes (like oral) and adjusting those to the bioavailabilities of other routes like intransal.

I echo the sentiment to not snort morphine. I always got better effects orally. BA-speaking, you don't gain anything snorting oxy but I preferred that route, not so with morphine.

Although the BA for morphine is listed as the same for orally and intrarectally, I'm constantly hearing glowing reviews of pluggin morphine so perhaps consider that.
