how much pseudoephedrine to not die? in cough syrup...REPLY QUICK

okay. i just bought a 4oz of tussin max str cough. and then i bought a 4oz of some generic max strength cough and cold [and i knew it had pseudoephedrine in it]. after doin some research, it looks like that alot of this chemical can hurt you...
so... later tonite i'm going to down the 4oz max strength cough... and what about the cough syrup with the pseudoephed in it? since there is... 708 mgs of P.E. in the syrup [30mg per 5ml]... can i drink maybe 2 oz and not have a bad trip...? so.. would 354 mgs of pseudoephed be okay.... what about 708mgs of P.E.? how much is a safe dosage?
basically how much pseudoephed can I ingest, without feeling its affects [the bad ones.. like rapid heartbeat, seizures...]
cuz i want to drink at least... 500mgs of dxm.

Okay well first off, I DO NOT recommend taking 708mg of Psuedo-e. I was pretty much in the same situation last weekend. It was horrible. Well for the most part. I first took 2oz and had a decent buzz but I was thinking it was more from the psuedo-e than the dxm, and by then I also smoked a bowl(I've mixed weed with pretty much everything I've ever taken so I didn't think much of it) within an hour of the buzz from the syrup I decided to down the last half, and i did before I thought about it. 10 minutes later I was starting to freak out cuz I know Psuedo-e can cause liver damage(in which I'm sure I did) then an hour later when my high went down and the rest of the syrup kicked in I was freaking out, laying in bed scared to move cuz my heart was beating like I was running for the last hour. Only i was laying in bed. So this is when I kinda sobered up a little and decided to move as little as possible cuz movement causes the heart to work more and it was working hard as it is. I didn't want to sleep just in case I'd fall into some kind of coma-like state so I just watched tv for 6 hours. Once that high started to drop and my heart calmed down a bit(by then I decided to check and it was going at like 120/min AFTER it slowed down a bit, my norm was 72/min) Around 6am I decided to go to sleep but it was odd I kept waking up every 20 min or so. I guess to make sure I was still alive. Anyhow so that experience scared the SHIT out of me. I should have went to the hospital, but key words are should have not did. I wouldn't do it if I were you, get shit with only DXM in it. And 2oz won't give you much of a trip, you'll be able to feel it but with the psuedo-e in it you'll have more of a stay awake high than what you want. DXM is a nice high, but don't do it with that much psuedo-e cuz you'll barely feel it.

well i am going to down the 4oz that is only dxm as an active ingredient.
and then the second bottle has the pseudoephed in it. [i shoulda just bought two robo max str.. but the generic cough and cold was only $1.83...]. so... 4 oz of pure dxm cough syrup, then 2 oz of cough syrup with pseudoephed, think i'll be okay?

You should be ok but im not telling you its gonna be pleasant, probly make it pretty shitty actually. Why dont you just spend the extra $4 bucks and go buy another robo max str? You will thank yourself while your tripping, i guarantee it.

i would now... it's too late. and i have my heart set on robotrippin tonite cuz my rides to tonite's rave bailed out on me. but just taking one 4 oz of robo max strenght cough... eh... need more dextromethorphan. i guess i'll smoke some bud this trip... since i heard it makes the robotrip it more intense.
