How much Methylphenidate do you personally need for a pleasant high??

Hey everyone,
I'm a very experienced Methylphenidate user. I've used this substance hundreds of times. I was wondering how many mgs do you personally need to get high, I'm just curious... For me personally at first I could chew up a 18mg Concerta and be feeling fantastic. Now adays though, I need a good 108-144mg concerta to get high ( Outer coating sucked off and thoroughly chewed). So any comments are appreciated I was just curious as to what others need to take to feel pretty nice.

I was also once prescribed Concerta and my tolerance grew very quickly up to about what you are taking right now. After I learned about the medication called Focalin, which is dexmethylphenidate, a more pure form of Ritalin and at least twice as strong, I switched from Concerta to Focalin in XR form 40mg, which = 80mg of methylphenidate. I stupidly then started crushing up the beads and snorting the powder. That really raised my tolerance. I then switched to the immediate release form of Focalin and started snorting that, requiring anywhere from 30 to 50 mg at a time just to feel nice. After a long time and a lot of damage to my nostrils I stopped snorting them and began putting them under my tongue. To make a long story short I basically require at least 40 to 50 mg sublingually (under the tongue) now if I want to feel an ok buzz, but need more like 60 to 80 mg for a good buzz. But Im not prescribed a high enough dose to take that much. Thank God, I think. Lastly, Ritalin, Concerta, and Focalin are very addicting substances. Even though they're not amphetamines they are somewhat similar to amphetamines. Please be very careful with these drugs as they can be very dangerous and have caused deaths in people who were taking them correctly, so that really tells you that abusing these type of substances can be very dangerous. Also abusing them can really mess with your heart and blood-pressure, among many other things. So please be very careful and do your research before doing anything like trying to catch a buzz from any type of substance, especially if you are not prescribed it and/or know little to nothing about it. I don't touch that Concerta stuff or any extended-release formulation. 60mg to 80mg of IR Ritalin gets a nice beaming buzz without feeling like a rocket on the launch pad.

I was prescribed methylphenidate and it was harsh and nasty. See if you can get plain dextroamphetamine. I find it smooth and motivating, though if I snort too much I get pretty cranky. The 10 mgs are orange and round. Tell your doc if that's where you're getting them you've heard good things and would like to try it. I only need a half of one to get me up and moving. I was on mixed amphetamine salts too once, which is generic Adderall IR and they were too harsh too.

50-60mgs snorted is good without tolerance

oral BA sucks so if you get your hands on the IR pills, crush and snort them, much better

I have quite a tolerance so i usually snort 120 to 140 mgs of ritalin to get me going. I might look into the dexmethylphenidate and try that though, i might not need as much, i hope.
