I think you guys have me confused. Im not saying that one 2mg loperamide is going to cause intestanal damage. But I am saying that the amount that you are going to need to do any help at all will. If you want to have a compacted intestine because you took too much anti diarreheal then go ahead. And I am well aware that buprenorphine causes constipation, in fact severely, but if you take 2mg a day and then taper, I think that you are going to get off of your oxy alot quicker and also you are going to be able to stop taking the suboxone alot quicker. Trust me even 1mg of suboxone is going to help you detox on a much higher level than any level of Loperamide would. Buprenorphine is a miracle drug for detox. I havent ever heard of Loperamide being used for detox. I would sooner user the protocol of catapres, librium, and lomotil to detox from opiates. Am I wrong?

DO NOT listen to this guy he is a complete tool and has no fucking clue what hes talking about.
DO NOT go on suboxone unless you want to replace one drug, with another drug thats FAR WORSE, and 5x HARDER to get off than oxy is.
Suboxone is
NOT a miracle drug. Do NOT listen to anyone else tell you this. Suboxone is a VERY LONG acting opiate. It just REPLACES the oxy, and does not get you high. It's very very very hard to get off, and the w/d are 5x worse than your worse oxy habit / worst oxy withdrawals.
IF you decide to go on suboxone, it will help immensely and you will have almost no w/d. BUT suboxone is FAR more addicting and more than
FIVE TIMES as hard to get off than oxy is. So IF you do decide to do suboxone, start on the lowest possible dose that gets you well enough to cope with the day. (start with 1mg ) and each and everyday you need to drop your dosage. Don't take your dose unless you NEED it. Suboxone has a very long half life and can keep you well for more than 24 hours.
DO NOT STAY ON IT LONGER THAN 2 WEEKS!!
Now as far as the lope goes, it is also an opiod and acts the
SAME EXACT way on your intestines that oxy/hydro/whatever type of opiate you're on. It is literally
NO DIFFERENT on your stomach than your oxy habbit is / was. It will MOST DEFINITELY
NOT cause intestine damage, and ive heard of people taking 90mg+ of lope with no problems other than constipation (but you're already used to that right?

). Lope does not cross the BBB so it will not get you high, but it will help immensely with most w/d.. enough that you will be able to get through the day and kick your habbit.
Think twice before you take anyone elses word for something, people like sp0r can be completely ignorant jackasses. Not even have a clue how ignorant they are, and spreading bullshit while thinking they are helping people, when it causes more harm than anything.
I also don't expect you to take my word for it either. Do your OWN research. Thats the best advice i can give someone, never take any
ONE persons word or opinion.
Although i have done a lot of reading on the subject, and i AM confident that i gave you the best advice possible. Lope will not cause intestinal damage by any means, and suboxone is
NOT a miracle drug. So unless you want to be dependent on a pill / substance for the rest of your life, than suboxone is NOT the way.
The things i find extremely helpful for kicking an oxy habit :
immodium: (start low and find the dose that works for YOU)
Kratom: (can be found online from many reputable dealers. I made a tea from about 3 - 5 grams and it helped IMMENSELY. ( i even got a bit of an opiate like buzz)
Heating pads,
hot showers or
baths with epsom salt.
Lidoderm Patches (if you can get them): These are a LIFE SAVER for aches / pains
Motrin
LOTS AND LOTS OF EXERCISE, STAY BUSY!!!
Good luck man and I wish you success in kicking your habit
