Opioids How much hydromorphine to take if no tolerance to opiates?

It depends on how you consume it. Orally, maybe 2mg+, injected less than that.
But in guessing you're not injecting it, so yeah, 2-4mg orally

Can you snort it? I can only get 8 mg pills

Yes you can snort them (I've never snorted them, only IV'd).
I'd start with 1/4th or 1/3rd of a pill, depending on how sensitive you are to opioids.
