How much do we pay for our pills?

Candlyflip, Mr Horsey, you guys rock.
Come on people, lets be realistic here!!! Everyone talks in code when they're buying pills don't they? Even on the mobile!!! Just to be extra sure... shit. No-one wants to get busted right? So we'd never divulge ANY info that might lead to that.
Some people are so fucking paranoid. Get a grip.

of course none of this info is going to get anyone arrested, i never said that, i just said i thought we didn't need to give such detail. do you see me deleting anything? do you see me telling anyone what to do?

i didnt even think for a moment about tappig of phones and ISP lines... i was thinking more about the BCI, Criminal Intelligence, (which i've always thought is a great name

) these are criminologist guys who put together data on statistics of crime and related stuff. basically stuff like this, how much, what sort of stuff, how often.
i just had a thought that this thread is making somebodies job real easy. mind you bugger all is done with this data, it usually just gets misquoted in government reports. and certainly no one gets directly arrested because of it.
please dont jump down my throat next time i politely speak my mind like i did above. i was just reminded of people i know who used to work for such places (a big hello to anyone who's still there!) i dont mind getting called paranoid really, coz where i grew up and where i used to work have made me immune to it, coz the question always is are you paraoid enuf?

Oh and by the way, you should NOT be talking on a mobile phone about these sort of things. I did some work for a mobile phone carrier and the all have a law enforcement liason officer. These people liase with the police and can tap people's phone calls (both digital, analog & CDMA). So my advice is "Don't talk about drugs on mobile phones at ALL!"

My guy charges me $40 till I hit 10-packs, and I can get him down to somewhere between $35-40 for more. I guess it depends on how much he has to pay for em too. He is yet to allow me under $35 though.
I often see where the media quotes street price of $30...Ive never seen it, at least not for imports.
I dunno bout the $50 being mkt value these days. We manage to score in clubs for $40 max heaps of times. If you know a few people there its pretty easy.

Just back to the topic for a sec, then I'll digress into the paranoia stuff again: usually I've seen $40 average, $50 party, and $30-35 for (not hugely) bulk prices.
Regarding phone taps, is it not illegal to tap someone's phone without having enough evidence to suspect them of dealing? I have heard somewhere that in America at least, illegal phone taps are a federal offense. I'm not sure as to what in Australia consitutes "sufficient evidence to suspect of drug dealing" but I do not know if a couple of BBS messages would suffice.
Should this be put in an official Paranoia thread? The subject seems to arise everytime prices are mentioned. As for myself, I am damn well paranoid, and for good reason - illegal narcotics penalities are steep. So that's the reason I'm not connected with drugs in any way... I just like writing fiction about them, like this.

Well i don't mean to scare anyone but I had my mobile calls tapped for a month or so.

heh, I found out in time.
And I wasn't up to much, I'd stopped doing the stuff they tapped me for about the time the tap came on, just coincidence, I didn't find out for a little while.
I had a code system inspired by 'Good Fellas'. Excellent movie, fucking complex code system we had. I had to have a bit of paper with codes written on it in front of me when i talked to this one guy. But it obviously paid off.
Eg. 'I'll meet you by the service entrance at 4'
meant
'I'll meet you in the car park out the back of ***** *'*****'* at 9.'
(All times were the 13 - the real time) But for specific stuff like meeting spots I needed an A4 piece of paper.

With the combination of blatant talk like that and him not being in a prison cell, I think his phone is not tapped. And that i don't want to buy drugs off him

Right now i get singles for $40
4 or 5 and its $36-$38
20 is $27-$28
50 is $18 or $20
10s i don't know, strangely. I'm with a new guy, that must be why, haven't found that out yet.
This is probably a little under the average price in Perth atm. Mind it has come down recently, I think the average is $45 now, rather the $50 so many of us have put up with for so long. Hey i remember when $60 was full price.
Oh, and i get a money back garauntee

Why can't it be like on dope wars and dealers raid the pharmacy and sell cheap ecstasy: $2 each.

Uuuuhh.. platsikman... the whole point of code is that they CAN'T BUST YOU, because you're talking about whips and chains!!!! not pills and speed!!!!
They 'might' get what you're on about, but unless they know where you're gonna meet someone to do a deal, then there's no problemo.
Remember: It's all talk until it becomes an action!!! besides..phone are too difficult to tap (ie require too much paperwork) if they dont suspect you of something big, they're not gonna bother. If you're talking in code, they can't be 'sure' you're talking about pills, so they're prolly not gonna take the time and effort to set up a bust for someone who wants 10 fucking pills!
SO, unless you're a big time dd and you feel like you could be under scrutiny(then you SHOULD be taking other precautions) you've got no hassle.
And if anyone was worried about narcs gathering info from this thread... should be even more worried now. We've just divulged our secrets, so now, they know more.

entropope: i bet your phone is a nokia 5110 right? those phone are never ever turned off really, unless you take the battery off. someone on the network can turn your phone on and track where you are. this is not paranoia, its in their brochures...
