how much different are generic drugs specifically sontata

I take sonata for sleep and occasional recreation. I have had many generics and they were all fine. This one I got to day has screwed me up! Instead of slowly drifting of to sleep I'm agitated legs moving, weird light flashes and really uncomfortable. Could some generics just not be the same even tho they are supposed to be? I'm going to have to take this up with somebody but who? It was like a comletely different medication. Do I go back to the pharmacy or ask the dr for another script? I'm sure the pharmacy won't take back pills. Please help. Advice, experiences, ways you've sloved this problem would be helpful. Thanks

I've had/am having a very similar experience. My new script was filled through a discount mail order program so that may have to do with perhaps a lower quality generic. It's an oblong white capsule "G / ZA10" by mylan
