How much coke is too much?

My dad was an alcoholic and cokeand a narcotic addict and becasue of that i try to mix up my usuage of drugs, i refuse to be an addict to anything. Try to break the norm of doing something more then twice a week.:)

Winding Vines is totally right on that. You can easily become addicted to anything. So try to keep the drug use minimal, or if you use a lot, mix it up. And ALWAYS have good friends with you, or to talk to....( hint hint * Venus* and Winding Vines )

much love

I know when I've had too much stimulants when either my heart feels like its going to explode, my veins are bulging and I'm just sitting there, or even worse..... my leg/arm starts to fall asleep for no seemingly no reason at all.... vasoconstriction...bad, bad

i dont think mixing up usage is really the way to avoid addiction.. it may be a way to prolong addiction... for example what if you mix usage up between x,y and z substances that only cause a user to become psychologically addicted. in that case u dont become addicted to the drug just the high produced by the drug(s). say drugs x,y,z all have similar highs in the end u end up addicted to them all. you just might not think you are because as u say "u mix up ur drug use"...

the key to avoiding drug addiction, i believe, lies in will power, nothing more nothing less.

minimal responsible usage is probably the best way to avoid addiction unfortunately for those who like drugs we all know minimal resposible usage isnt always as much fun as we'd like it to be and it isnt always as easy as it sounds.

we have to keep in mind that Its not use of a substance alone that causes one to be addicted its patterns of misuse and abuse that lead you there regardless of substance. when we take a drug, any drug, any number of times, we open ourselves up to those risks and the chances of avoiding them are almost slim to none for so many people. the more we do a substance the greater the risk for addiction.

its funny tho. i know some people that stick to only one substance and they put themselves on a schedule, and they dont use between their designated times, however everytime they do use they end up getting more and more..
does anyone else think this is absolutely rediculous? i mean it totally defeats the purpose imo.

later
