I'm not even sure that's really true. When was the term first used? If it was used before the 70's then maybe it was originally used to refer to pure heroin, but afaik China White has always been some sort of fentanyl analogue.

I looked into it one night. To the best of the internet's knowledge the term was introduced, or at least became popular, in the 80s to describe synthetic opioids (probably fentanyl) coming from China. It was "RC opioids" before "RC" was a thing.

Over time, this term became confused with heroin, because heroin was still probably 50x more popular and available in the 80s, and in pop culture "China white" meant really good heroin, but that's false, it's actually fentanyl or some other designer drug pumped out of China.

@Didgital , no idea about pre-1970s, but I have some material from 1972 consisting of interviews with heroin users, who are referring to #4 that way. Alpha-methylfentanyl was first detected as an admixture in the early 80s.

You need to homogenize it somehow to avoid the existence of a hot spot.

Traditional China white is alpha methyl fentanyl. A pure lethal dose is a few grains of sand.

Volumetric dosing then using a nasal mist sprayer might be the safest way.

Like various people have said it depends on what you have which we have no way of knowing but be careful because it sounds like you might be buying from the dark web in which case it most likely not real #4 white heroin… i used to get good white #4 and yellow pakistani and even with a big habit i always got a good tush/nod from 50-75mg IV and i imagine for someone who doesnt have a tolerance then sniffing 10mg should be enougj to get you high…just do a tiny bump and see how u feel snd remember to wait 15-3o minutes before redosing because sometimes you wont realise how f…ed you are until its too late! Hooe for ur sake its real good white dope in which case ull be in for a treat…have a bucket and plenty of liquids on hand…

And have you ever used alpha-methylfentanyl? I'm curious about the range of effect differences between different fentalogs and if they only vary in potency, or also experiential effects. I've been encountering more people around me who started with fent and love it, though people I know who started with heroin or oxycodone just use fent to keep dopesickness at bay.
