How much alcohol do YOU drink?

If Im drinking liquor its usually a 5th of Potters a day but Ive been trying to stay away from the hard stuff lately since I detoxed in jail and not in a particular rush to start having severe WDs again. So lately its 3 16oz Rolling Rocks throughout the day. Only $3.30 out the door. I did have a half pint of vodka though last night on the end of a meth high to aid with sleep. Also its amazing how quick alcohol WDs start appearing in alcoholics who have been physically dependent several times. It only took like a week of 48 oz domestic beer daily and a couple splashes of vodka to start getting the shakves again, albeit only lightly right now. I really need to quit drinking period...
 
Oh oh alcohol thread. Getting in here.

I try to keep it between 2-4 beers in a night. 3-4 nights a week. 3 would be ideal (weekend). But I fuck that up a lot. Haven't had hard liquor in a while. So that's something!

In my 30s somewhere. Been doing this maybe 10 years or something.
 
I'm 20. Didn't start drinking until I was 18, and for the last 2 years I've been a very occasional drinker. For the first year, I'd probably binge drink 1-2 nights a week or every two weeks, then I tapered off and would only drink maybe once every 2 weeks and only 2-3 drinks each time
A few weeks ago I moved to Australia temporarily, though, where the legal drinking age is 18 and since then I've been drinking almost every day, if we're just hanging out usually 1 or 2 drinks, if we're going out it could be up to 4 drinks
 
I'm 20 and turn 21 in 19 days… so the amount I drink may change soon. Right now it's been some beer or wine here and there. Other times, I would drink heavily on the weekends (alcoholic would probably cause alcohol poisoning in a normal person type shit). Then there was a six month time period I was drinking vodka 24/7. I had half gallons of vodka covering my floor. I would drink multiple shots in less than a minute. It was bad. I fluctuate a lot, but all in all I hate drinking, but alcoholism does run in my family, and that alcoholic in me does come out sometimes. Heroin allows me to not be an alcoholic. Lol not like that's better.
 
every weekend, usually vodka, only enough to catch a buzz. i used to drink until i passed out every time i drank but i managed to get some self-control, thankfully

lately though i been drinkin wine in the mornin on week days too, a bottle or two with shared with friends. i love alcohol at low doses. i love it at high doses too but hangovers and losing personal items / embarassing myself is what keeps me from doing it
 
I've never been a morning / day time drink (other than rare, special occasions). But I am and have been for well over a decade a daily drinker, I start drinking in the evening, almost always scotch. Currently I drink around 6-7 standard drinks a night, if I'm working the next morning.. On Fri/Sat (at home) maybe more like 10+.

A while ago I got to drinking close to a bottle (700ml) a night, which I think is about 22 standard drinks. Too much. I'd like to give it up altogether, sadly - the only times it ever really cuts back to the point that I go some nights without a drink, is if I'm using heroin daily, in which case I can go without the grog. But as soon as I 'get clean' so to speak, I'm on the liquor.
 
18, I only drink once every two months or so. Not a big fan of alcohol. I prefer being high off something at parties for instance.
 
There's been a bunch of times in my life when I drank a lot but lately I barely touch alcohol ever. I don't actually remember the last time I had a drink, but today I bought some vodka so that's finally changed :p

I'm the kind of person to drink at parties and such and who enjoys drinking alone but I rarely do the latter unless I'm incredibly bored or taking stimulants (also something that I only do very rarely these days).
 
Practically none save for a dozen beers and two bottles of a ridiculously expensive but insanely delectable wine. That's per annum so on average one beer and a small glass of wine per month. I loathe hangovers that's why I drink so little.
 
On average just over 3 a day (I kept track kfor like a month) but if I had it my way it would be a lot more. Its probably closer to 4 or 5 I mean like.... Who wants to be an alcoholic? Its fun for a week at most.
 
For a couple decades, alcohol was not only my DOC, it was the only drug I used, and used often. At my worst, circa the mid-nineties, I would drink in the mornings as soon as I got my child off to school.

Once I discovered prescription opies, alcohol rapidly began to lose its appeal. I can't just have a couple drinks; it has to be none or "drink till I pass out." A few times a year, I get that urge, and drink all day, playing music and posting things I will regret on Facebook the next day.

The year I was clean from opies, I drank on the reg, not quite back to my nineties levels, but, probably five nights out of seven. Beer has always been pretty much the only alcohol I drank regularly. However, the last time I was really drunk, (perhaps drunkest I have ever been, and that's saying something), it was in New Orleans and it was tequila.

So, short answer: Not very often at all, but when I do, it's massive quantities.
