How mental are you?

It's grey, and it's very pretty. Sadly it's now been somewhat sullied. :|

I used to be metal as a yoof. I've seen Slayer. Even saw Metallica in '95. I'm far from metal now, but I still love Iron Maiden and will defend their honour to the death.
 
I can 't understand how anyone could like Metalica. Oooooopw! It's just noise n gives me a headache. What is the music.

I like music with meaning, a tunes, lyrics - not a loada crap.

They don't make music like they used to. The Beatles - that was music!

The Beatles were a bunch of fuckin' scouse gits.

I agree about Metallica being awful, but they're fairly tame and 'musical' by most people's standards.

thats the kind of remark ill be making when ill turn grandpa

agreed about metallica being tame and musical. still, they hardly do a disservice to the genre.

I've listened to all the Beatles albums, Revolver is OK but generally I'm not keen, over rated in my opinion

But music and art is a very personal thing, I try to aviod saying such things are shite.

Still proud that my 11 year old told her teacher she prefered NIN to Olly Murrs ( the fat potato)

Generally I don't like metal, with the exception of Black Sabbath and Lemey (I don't really count Lemey as metal)
 
I could tolerate SOME black sabbath. My first ex was into them n introduced me to a lot of older music. He got me into Red Hot Chili Peppers n we saw them live in Dublin. They were amazing. Was there from 2 pm to 2am as other groups were there like The Pixies , Hot House Flowers ( i was was the name), Groove Amarda n The Thrills.

I s'pose metal has it's place n there are some good tunes to some of them but I can tolerate one song before the 'off' button is pressed LOL. Kinda hard when I'm having a tattoo though as that's what they listen to lol.

Olly Murs n the X Factor lot aint all that - it's mainly marketing. I hate how they're always Christmas number one n we don't have a Christmas song like the old days. I loved singing to Cliff Richards as a 7 year old child lol. Your child's got sense by the sound of it :) sounds like she's going to be her own individual person n not like a lot who are sheep.

Easily. Not all of their stuff is headachey heavy, have you jumped to conclusions based on listening to probably a couple of songs. each to their own
