Been IVing dope for a year now. It really is one of the most pleaserful things you can experience in your lifetime. Only a few of my good friends know I shoot, but I dont really hesitate to tell people when I'm asked.

"Yeah I get high, so what?"
 
I'm terribly frightened of needles, and just watching someone inject has made me physically ill on multiple occasions.
However, I'm working to overcome my fear. My interest in IM ketamine has been ever-increasing and despite my fear, I look forward to my first IM ketamine experience.
 
I agree doordie, the people who can manage their IV use have usually only just started or have no choice due to availability or some other restriction. I just stopped for about 4 months due to restrictions and one of the first chances I got I took and had a few shots 2 days ago and while I wont shoot that particular drug again without a filter as I am now feeling negative physical effects from shooting pills, I would still shoot meth or heroin in a second. BTW if you see this yellow(you know who you are) dont be worried, please, xanax prevents me from going psycho.

I think meth is one of the few drugs I can keep control of with IV use because of the comedown and $$$, with opiates you can just keep going and going and the biggest concern for me is WD, with meth(for me at least) there is a point when either I dont want any more or I couldnt physically or mentally handle any more insanity and it all just becomes neutral, no more fun and I just gotta start waiting for the negatives(comedown) to come rolling in.

I just started injecting recently because a good friend of mine started and I got really curious ( I think I always was but it took something like that to get me the balls to try it). God I see what they mean by getting hooked on the needle itself. I'm doing good so far keeping it to when I run low on shit and need to get more bang for my buck out of my OC's.
 
Question, for some reason with this new brand of hydromorphone, whenever I shoot it (in my arm) I get a bubble underneath.. And I know its not a missed shot cause I kept re-registering and I felt the rush. I put ice on it afterwards and it seemed to get harder, so I put hot water on it and it went down a lot, but still there and will go away in about an hour. Could it be the different brand? (ethex) Or could it be that my vein is damaged and the flow of blood isnt good and the liquid is sitting there in the vein? I was tied off, not to tightly and left it on while shooting which i know isnt smart I just didnt want to come out of the vein. But what could it be? Never happened with the other brand.

Your banging oxy's? 80 mg OC brand name? If so, what process do you go through preparring it? I know those are tricky to bang..

What kind of pills were you IV'ing and what negative effects were you seeing with your body, if you dont mind me asking..
 
OC's have always fixed up fine for me, the same as any other prepping method, its the fucking MS-Contins(the only ope I have access to at present) that are the bitch to prep.

And with the little lump, I always get that little tiny misquito bite looking bump after a shot and it goes away within the half hour...btw theres no reason to put ice on after a shot, warm compresses do a lot though, it has become part of my ritual to warm compress after every shot even if I dont miss, I just like to make sure I dont end up with any bad marks.
 
I was shooting ritalin(bad fucking mistake) and oxycontin for about 2 months and in that time the negs were only wd and money but I had a shot a few days ago after a few months break and im worried ive done something as my chest has been hurting s im going to go to the doctor and hopefully get a lung scan and blood tests because if anything is wrong im guessing endocarditis or something in my lungs, im wishing for the best, I hope im just being paranoid.

I missed 2 shots and all I got was a hell of a swollen arm for a few days and I still have visible track marks but theyre fading.

Gonna have a nice shot of meth for tonight. one of the few IV drugs I can sort of control, meaning when im on it I fiend hard but when im sober I could take it or leave it.

Ive decided to only shoot in the future with micron filters, the next step is finding them but with these chest pains im sure I will never shoot un-micron-filtered pills ever again.
 
Where can you find the micron filters? Ive went to Pharmacy supply stores and they never have them, Ive only found them online and they were realllly expensive... can you use them more then once? shit, id hope so.. and good look with the lung scan.. hope all is well..
 
i rather use cotton, natural always seems to be better than synthetic, in some respects. even if it means i have to double/triple filter

but I could use some help with those micron filters ;)
 
If using pills, the micron filters are a lot more effecient so ive heard.. cant go wrong with them, plus ive heard of something called cotton fever with the cotton, sometimes a lil peice of cotton gets caught in the rig, i always try and pull it out but im sure some still gets caught in the the rig when pull up the solution.. hmmm.. i wonder how bad that is in your bloodstream/lungs.
 
Yes I IV some of my drugs. it is the best moa IMO. Smoking crack makes it to tjhe brain faster but I hate the shit. To much jonsing (sp?).

I IV all my opioids except the contin's which I use as directed. Many opioids are essentially wasted unless IV'd IMO.

Coke I snort only and very sparingly. Don't really like getting all wound up anymore. I used to have a fairly serious problem with IV coke and alcohol in the 80's which I managed to escape by the skin of my teeth. Now i use much more cautiously.

Unfortunetly I ended up addicted to opiates. Can't win. The only real way to be free is to stop all drugs. I wish I had the time to take some time off work (like 3 months) and get cleaned up. I can do that but I would only be able to do that once so I need to be sure I'm ready to completely stop.

I got completely clean in 1991 and it lasted for 12 years. Now I just wish I could get back there again.
 
ill smoke anything, snort anything, and sure as all hell shoot damn near everything i can find.
 
Yes I have injected, not anymore, but in the past it was cocaine
 
I always said that I would never inject, however last week I came across some morphine sulfate amps and I had to try it! It was great!
