Opioids How many Hours after Last Codeine Dose to feel first Symptoms of Withdrawal?

I am using Codeine Daily right now to Wean Down from Stronger Opioids and I just need to know an EXACT answer like I know it takes 8 to 12 Hours before you feel Withdrawal from Oxycodone from what I could gather on the Internet it will be 8 Hours soonest and 10 Hours latest before u start to feel Withdrawal or is that Totally wrong and Codeine Withdrawal can happen in as little as 6 hours like Hydromorphone?
 
There is no exact answer. Codeienes half life is 3-6 hours. I personally can go about 30 hours after my last dose without feeling withdrawals. I use on average 350-400mg most days and 150-200mg every other day (for the past 7 months, if that info helps at all.)

Fill us in with a little more detail and we should be able to help you better.

The answer to your question depends on various factors:

a) How long have you taken Oxycodone?

b) Hogh high wars your dose?

c) Did you consume orally?

d) How long do you take Codein now?

e) How high is your current Codein dose?

You wont get a exact answer from the Internet and all the questions I asked are impossible to to process because every human is different.

The effects of Codeine can last from something between 4 hours and 8, maybe eben 12. The depending factor is how fast you metabolize Codeine.

I would simply they the next dose when I start to feel light withdraw symptoms and stop the time. Then you know how long it will take.
 
Nobody is going to be able to give you an "exact" answer. It depends on the individual, how much they take, how often they dose, etc.

If you dose frequently and have a fast metabolism, could be as little as 7 or 8 hours... could be 12 hours, could be 24, who knows.

The only way is to wait... and see when you start feeling sick. Pretty simple.
 
It depends on how often you usually dose the drug, as well as its half life. If someone has access to a lot of heroin and does some every 6 hours then they will soon find themselves getting six at the one hour mark, whereas a person using it once a day will usually make it closer to 24 hours before getting sick. With oxycodone the time seems shorter so even if you use just once a day it's usually only 12 hours or so before you start getting sick, but if you keep holding out until 24 hours before dosing you should start to not get sick for a little longer. Even when I was only using fri-sat-sun I would be fine until Thursday which is a long time to take to get sick but since my body became used to that dosing schedule it adjusted.

You are not going to find an exact amount of time but if you are taking it daily it's going to be between 6-22 hours generally. There's really only one way to find out, and that's through experience.

Sorry my Brain is a Bit Skewed Hate it when I accidently Word shit Wrong I just wanted a ROUGH EDUCATIONL GUESS lmfao and mine is 8 to 10 Hours after your Last Codeine Dose and Withdrawals begin like headache or sneezing or increase mucous production type thing. Was just wondering if I am Correct or wrong and you said it could happen in 6 hours. But from Experience I have used usually 400 or more sometimes 300 200 100 or even just one T3 and by the way I do get 50MG Codeine Contin whcih i think sux only good thing is it has no Tylneol but a CWE fixes that with T3s which is cheaper but back on topic if I take a t3 and I have wean down I get relief still lasting through the 6 Hour Mark and by the 8 hour mark I feel withdrawals but I find if I take enough to get high so at that tolerance like 180mg or 210mg at most I don't feel withdrawal for a Solid 10 Hours I count the Hour on the Clock counting down to Withdrawals like any Real HARDCORE CLICHE TYPICAL Junky Fiend Addict etc etc does until it is time for my Fix or to Detox Count Down lol. Using CWE Tylenol 1s Over The Counter no prescription Needed 8 MG cODINE 325 mg of Tylenol to extract from a whole lot of pills but downside is 15mg Caffeine each but if you use just enough Water for the Codeine after CRUSHING theTon of Pills you don't get as much Caffeine Fuck Sorry for Typing so much can't Help it High as Hell on Weed and Benozs Oxy ton of shit a long with my Natural OCD thoughts only way it could be worse is with a Good Solid Dosage of Cocaine Good thing I Noding out Ready for Bed and not Fiending my Legs off Pun intended for RLS.

i also used to use 480mg codeine 3-5x daily (cwe from OTC pills, i live in EU - no oxy or other opiates, only codeine, even if cancer).

THERE IS NO WD FROM CODEINE. IF YOU FEEL WD FROM CODEINE I DONT WANT TO BE AROUND YOU WHEN YOU FALL AND HURT YOUR KNEE, YOU WILL BE CRYING FOR AN AMBULANCE.


now i use 120mg methadone cause i told them im addict. i suggest you do the same. i get my methadone for 0.00$ for life, no matter if i work or dont, have "helf insurance" (i dunno what that is even, we dont have that here) or whatever.
3-MF i also used 2 years up to 1g a day (1g makes 30-35 doses) but never IV cause my veins can only be used in a hospital setting (i have a rare thing called 'veins dont show up after 3 hours in a hot bath and after 30 pushups and using a tourniquet and every thing known to man". sorry for OT.
 
Codeine is an opiate so people who are physically dpendent on it WILL suffer
withdrawals.though it won't be the same as say, my heroin WDs, it can cause that person to suffer without a doubt. Try to remember, perception is reality..so if it feels really bad to that person then it is really bad for that person.

There is no HR or helpfullness in belittling someone because they say they are experiencing WDs from codeine.
 
Everyone is different.......some people get wd's after 4 hours while others after 6 hours.

It would be great if codeine was OTC in every country.
 
Well makes sense I think Earliest I felt Withdrawals is 6 Hours later after I used a low-dose and I am not withdrawing from Codeine per-say more like using them to keep Withdrawal from hydromorphone away. Like Hydromorphone if I take enough to get High I don't feel Withdrawals for 8 Hours but if I take JUST ENOUGH to get Rid of Withdrawals I feeel them again 6 Hours Later Codeine I think Longest it has held me is 10 Hours after a Mega-Dose of 600MG Codeine with Moderately-High Tolerance got pretty Itchy Expecting worse Due to the Notorious Massive Histamine Release Codeine gives but guess my Tolerance and possible Benadryl or Diphenhydramine to be Exact on the Chemical Substances Name lol. Lingering in my System from the Night before since it can be in the body anywhere from 48 to 72 hours Approx. or something Along those Lines I think.
