🤝 Cultural 🤝 How many dependancies do YOU have?? U Fecker?

Dont smoke that much weed? Or you guys just don't really think of it as possible to be addicted to? I mean everyones perception is different, I did say dependency, idk if cannabinoids dependancy is really a thing until you get up to JWH and even thcp maybe
I'm in rehab. Not allowed to smoke weed.

It's clearly possible to be addicted to it. The withdrawals are due to downregulation of dopamine. Also I found THCP withdrawals to be particularly bad, much worse than D9-THC

i can't stay on a schedule sleeping with out weed, and it calms my anxiety, so it very much feels like i'm addicted to it personally... some people are just naturally balanced and i noticed those people can smoke weed and not be dependent on it... once a person realizes it's what gets them to sleep and they don't have the same anxiety with it, most people in that situation are gonna want it all the time... it's not really pain having to give up weed, but i go back to feeling not as good, and sleep deprivation sucks.. i've been for 6 month, three month breaks and a couple month/2 week or so breaks in over twenty years of smoking, and i can't get into not smoking... maybe if i went a bit longer i wouldn't have some of the anxiety that i had during my teenage years and i'd level out.. i just prefer to smoke weed myself though.

I've found cannabis to be pretty anti-addictive or self limiting for me personally. i just don't get the same anxiety relief or physical benefits as many others. it pretty much always (well, most of the time) puts me in too shitty of a headspace to be something I use all day everyday. I'll get an oz and it'll last me months basically.

I honestly wish I could smoke weed regularly, because the things I do like about it, I do like, but, there's just too many negatives really. I do find that if I smoke it more regularly or daily, I do start to get less negative cognitive effects.

pretty crazy how different it can affect different people

Buprenorphine (down to 5mg/day from 28 mg😅)
I guess I'm a little dependent on the gabapentin also, I have taken it with two or 3 days inbetween, but on day 4 I start to feel quite shit so haven't gone longer than that without them.

I did a detox in hospital for lyrica withdrawals last year. 0/10 I do not recommend getting hooked on that.

Yeah man pregabs are like top 3 drug feelings. Can't imagine coming off of that long term lol

Roxicodone 210mg
Methadone 30mg
Clonidine 0.9mg
Ativan 2mg
Visteril 50mg
Lunesta 3mg
Benadryl 150mg

Some months Hydromorphone and Zanaflex

I'm only physically dependent on nicotine. I but I use kratom or 7-oh once every week, and my most recent special interest is opioids (like researching the biochemistry and history online and also feeling them), so that could be considered a psychological dependence.

All in all, two: *nicotine* and *mitragynine or it's variants*.

cannabis 25 yrs (If you count that as 'dependency')
Benzos - prescribed over 20 yrs
sub/opiates - about 15 yrs
Nicotine - 1-2 yrs and apparently MI ain't selling vapes now!!??

I usually take a Benadryl or two a day -- I alledgedly drink about half the days. (Not physically dependent though)

That is a pricey list even with insurance.

Hmm I would tend to disagree but I respect your opinion a bit --- you ever kicked like benzos or opiates. Nicotine even? Does it compare?

For me it wasn't physical sickness as much as "THIS FUCKIN SUCKS I SHOULD SMOKE ONE" --- "OH GOD IM BORED THESE DAYS ARE LONG" type of shit

THC-P?

idk it kinda felt like weed withdrawals combined with mild/moderate cocaine and benzo withdrawal... not really all that bad relatively but still sucked ass. I made a thread about it. It was easy to deal with by simply tapering or switching to regular weed, and the acutes only lasted a day or two. Also I was using very high oral doses, dosing around the clock 24/7, for 4 or 5 months. Like I would literally wake up at 4am and eat some and go back to bed.

and yes I have kicked benzos and opioids more times than I'd like to count.

I never found nicotine withdrawal to be all that bad. Maybe it's just me, but its almost entirely psychological. I never understood why people would put it up there next to heroin and benzos in terms of withdrawal. I'm not saying it's easy, I'm just saying the withdrawals aren't all that bad.

tbh I have never done nicotine w/d --- just making sure you had somethin to compare it too. Insomnia is the main effect -- but I had that before I started smoking pot too so Idk

I'm dependent on nicotine most of all.
I have a dependency on opioids(Buprenorphine) and though it's not daily I have an IV meth habit and benzo habit. I need benzos after stims.

I used to be a pothead but no longer.

^ I also will not do stims without benzos on the other end (or a strong opiate) -- but I no longer have an excess of benzos so I simply cannot afford to partake in such extra cirriculars.

Nicotine is weird I watch ppl cold turkey it (Not by choice usually but they do okay -- than get out and go right back to it) WHY YOU WERE SO CLOSE -- go vape at least.... To each they own -- if there was ever a 'smoke em if you got em' era
