How long can you hold onto mushrooms for? I got them in January but haven't had a chance to eat them.
Plan on eating them in the summer or something.
Have the already gone bad? Do they go bad?
I've kept them in a cool, dry, dark area.

People store dried mushrooms for months, if not years.
Your storage conditions are good, so if there are no visible problems with your mushrooms(mold for example), they are still potent and safe to consume.

Also, I have no personal experience with storing and using shrooms, so this is all based on what I read on the internet.

yeah they'll be fine for a year plus as long as they aren't in a moist environment.

Months/year and I have them in the dark though. No light hitting them at all.
