How long wait before GI-tract stop diarrhea ?

I stopped 3 weeks ago with my last opiate. After a half decades of opiates use (not really hard opiates but it's longtime use and every day).

Since I stopped I have intestinal cramps and diarrhea. Before opiate use I had never intestinal cramps or diarrhea (except if I was ill).
I don't take loperamide because it's a opiate and I think it's would only prolong this situation. In mornings I take only Butylscopolamine because in mornings it really worse with my intestinal cramps and diarrhea.

To longtime-opiate users who are sober today: How long you are wait before your GI-tract began to work normal ?

Green apples. They have tons of fiber... I dont know if itll stop it completely, since its opiate related, but it should at least help.

Take a cycle of colon health probiotics they are like 15 bucks at Walmart I believe.
Eat activia yogurt too. It's my firm belief that when I do opiates it fucks up the natural bacteria in my stomach. I used to have to take immodium a lot, like for a year after I quit. But a couple times when I got clean some probiotics would bring my system back to normal. Try it
