How long to wait to take suboxone after 60mgs methodone?

hello! so swim took 60mgs of methodone (in place of H) Mon. around 4, its now Wednesday about 34 hours after. swim doesn't feel horribly sick, but would like to take some sub as soon as possible. ive heard a lot of different things on how long to wait to take suboxone, ranging from 1-5 days. the one 60mg dose of methodone was the only one swim has had in a long time, and things usually get out of my system relatively quick. swim has two 8mg strips. any help, or insight would be much appreciated

From my experiences you should be good to go after 24 hours. You stated you last took an opiate 34 hours ago so you should be good to go. I would start with half an 8mg (half a strip) and see after 30 minutes how you feel. This is usually more than enough for me when getting clean from 2 bundles a day of H.

Subs are very strong and usually people don't realize just how strong they really are because of the blocker it has which wont allow you to get high. So in turn, they believe its a weak opiate.

You mite feel a little clammy or sweaty at first which is normal. I usually start feeling much better on Subs by day 2. Good luck!

thanks! is that just H or dones too? its been a full 48 hours now. starting to feel pretty nasty, but doesn't feel like full W/D. im still kind of weary of 72 hr wait that ive heard about

60mg's? Most doctors wont even do the induction if you're on more than 30mg's of methadone because of its very long half life. 24 hours is definitely not going to be enough. You'll still have over 30mg's of methadone in your system by then.

You need to wait at least 3 or 4 days, or until you are in moderate-severe withdrawal. If you rush it and take it too soon.. you are going to be seriously fucked.
