Yesterday I had a stim comedown and since I almost never use benzos I decided to take 1,5mg rivotril thinking it will be more then enough. Instead I still had lingering anxiety and not only that but I became very irritated as well+hard breathing. Took me another 1,5mg to somewhat calm down and fall asleep. Today I decided to try It out one more time before I need it again, started with 0,5-nothing, took 1mg more-exteme anger and irritability, I got so pissed that in the end I took 2mg and now I'm finally chill and maybe I will fall asleep. Will I ever be able to take 0.5mg for stressful situations if I take a long break(if it doesn't make me more pissed of course). Unlike diazepam and xanax this is crazy, what type of sedative makes you irritable, who made this drug?

Everyone reacts differently to different drugs. For me Clonazepam 2mg will cure my anxiety for a day or two. Pretty useful, but dependence is a bitch with any benzo of course, so don't overdo it. If you do develop a tolerance, a good two weeks should have it pretty much reset except in rare cases where the individual has been overdoing it for years or something such as that...
This can be confusing. There is a "tolerance" that we describe that is the result of measurable chemical processes in the body. This is the tolerance we are usually describing.
There is also a different kind of "tolerance", this one being more psychological. This too could be measured I guess, if someone were to map your brain and your neurotransmitters, but I'm digressing. Just like how riding a roller coaster is super fun and intense the first time, experiences with drugs are very similar.
When you experience a new substance, your brain is like "what the fuck is going on, this is new, this is crazy". You're overloaded by the novelty of the experience. With this in mind, a person's tolerance can drop chemically, but the way our memories and reward systems work, you're not every going to be able to relive that experience with the same level of novelty.
For this reason, someone like yourself who is taking relatively high doses, your tolerance may go down, but you're still gonna take more than 0.5mg Clonazepam. That's my opinion.
Regarding the anger: Benzodiazepines are well-known to produce what are called "paradoxical effects" in some instances. Basically, this describes a phenomenon in which a person experiences the opposite expected effects. This often implies anger/hostility as opposed to sedation/calmness.
