I have been using clonazepam at 0.5mgs for about 5 weeks for just about every day. I take it because I'm currently addicted to tramadol and the dose I take of tramadol (+400mgs) puts me at a risk of having a seizure so having 0.5mgs of clonazepam in my system helps to keep me safer from seizures than otherwise.
I'd like to ask you folks how long it takes to get physically addicted to tramadol, whether from your personal experience or what you know. Unfortunately, I want to get off tramadol, but I need clonazepam to help me out during the tramadol WD (I would bump clonazepam use to 2mgs/day for 1 week during tramadol WD as I find that's how long it needs for the worst of the tramadol WD to be over).
I'm contemplating several options of how to withdraw from tramadol, but I need to know if I'm still OK with my current clonazepam use (0.5mgs/day for last 5 weeks) to not be physically dependent on it yet, and how long I'd still have left before physical dependence to the clonazepam would set set in.
Thank you
