How long to abstain from hydro to avoid WD symptoms with occasional use

I'm trying to get a clear answer about this from other people's experience. I finished a quick suboxone detox for a 180 mg a day hydrocodone habit. Last dose was 17 days ago with one day relapse a week in. I have been off of the subs for 6 days and this will be the third day of no noticeable WDs. Sleeping has been getting back on track for last 2 nights. How long do I have to wait before using recreationally to avoid bringing back any symptoms? I've heard one month, a week, three days..

You can have withdrawals of trying any amount in the future.

It is best to avoid usage altogether. You are going to be falling back into the hole if you pick back up.

A month at least is required. Two would be alot better. Remember that you can't use more than once a week, it will be impossible since you have been addicted before.

I waited 1,5 months after qutting subs, took 1000mg propoxyphene and got the full withdrawal back. Defintely not worth it.

Never do this again bro, that is a very dangerous drug.

Yea I would say a month considering they are coming off a maintenance drug. If they just took the hydro I would say 2-3 weeks on the low side, with 1.5 months definitely being enough, but since they had bupe in them 24/7 for a while the body will find it easy to go back to being dependent on functioning with opioids in the system.
