How long subs last till opiate effects work?

I abused opiates for quite a while but today i decided to start taking subs. i only took one 8mg. the first time i have ever taken them. I was wondering how long i have to wait to get the full effect of opiates again? WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE AN ANSWER FROM SOMEONE WHO IS IN MY POSITION OR VERY SIMLIAR TO IT! THANKS!

Suboxone has a life of up to 72 hours. From personal experience I have witnessed this to be true and have wasted opiates trying to use before this period is over. Since it is your first time taking it you may not have to wait so long but your still looking at about 48 hours before feeling the full effects of any opiate.

whenever i take subs, sometimes i notice that a little bit of WD symptoms peak through. The one that i always have the most is that ill be a littleeeeee bit sweatier than normal, no big deal. not nearly anything like being sick. and ill notice a little soreness that the oxy used to take care of :( even if i just dosed my sub in teh morning and then used 30 mg at night, ill notice it just kind of fill the little holes here and there that maybe the sub didn't COMPLETELY take care of, except im still far from feeling any kind of buzz. really, the best thing is just the drip from snorting it lol that alone just makes me happy! but yeah... the half life is long as hell normally but u dont ahve much in ur system and haven't been taking it every day so there isn't a sub build up in ur system. agree with the 24 hours thing at least if u really wanna feel something, especially if u arent going to take a lot.
