How long should one wait to IV Heroin after smoking Meth

My friend has been smoking tweak for the last couple of hours, nothing excessive or crazy.

He smoked a <No Prices. Thanks.> probably half a gram with a couple of friends, he also picked up a sac of tar. He was wondering people's opinions on how long he should wait to do a shot of dope in order to still get the "full affect" of it. His main goal is to try and catch a nod from the shot, but knows that the tweak will have a lasting affect on how it will hit him and make him feel.


So the question summed up is: How long would you suggest to wait to IV Heroin after smoking Meth and still feel the "full affect" of the dope.

Wait untill you start feeling like crap from the comedown, then inject the heroin and it will feel alot stronger.

^That's true pretty much...If he doesn't have much of a dope tolerance, a big shot of dope could bring him right down....Heroin seems to easily dominate a meth high, it's a tough combo to get right as far as having the mixture go well....

I'm assuming your friend knows his limitations and will proceed with caution...Even though those are two of the most addictive substances out there, both hard drugs....It's really not that dangerous of mixture, as long as your not just loading up back to back shots of heroin and meth and using moderation with both...

I end up craving more meth when the dope kicks in, then if I do more meth, it lasts so long that I end up wanting to do more dope later on...

Yeah, I agree with the above, wait until you're coming down from the meth, do the dope and call it a night...

^I'd tend to agree with the above, but if your friend feels they need to soften the rough edges of the amphetamine while it's still going strong, they can feel free to inject no more than their usual dose of heroin, once, until the amphetamine is eliminated

There is an inherent risk of mixing a strong stimulant with opiates, as one can easily take a dose of opiate which would normally land them in overdose territory. In this situation the respiratory depression is counteracted due to the stimulant, and if the stimulant wears off before the opiate, respiratory arrest occurs.

SOMETIMES I have gotten SO MUCH HIGHER when shooting heroin while I was tweaked, im guessing due to the speed increasing my metabolism and pushing the dope thru my body faster, and other times I would A LOT OF DOPE to kill or dampen the speed ghigh

Who knows, really? It just depends on the person. A meth high for me will last about twelve hours, for some people close to an entire day, for some people who are incredibly tolerant it's closer to 3 hours. For a nod, I'd bang it when the meth euphoria dies down to chill out the tweakiness.
