How long should I wait to Robotrip after Xanax?

I took 4 MG of Xanax this morning at 9 and I want to Dex tonight. I've read numerous posts about Xanax canceling out the Psychedelic/Hallucinatory part of it (which is in my opinion my favorite part). Simple question if anybody knows. Thanks %)
 
That's a fairly high dose of xanax. You will probably get mixed reports, but for me personally i wouldn't risk wasting the night on high hopes of tripping hard. I'd wait until the xanax was totally out of my system, as it seems to diminish the effects of literally any drug you mix with it or after it. For me it even seems to reduce the high provided by opiates, albeit increasing the depressive quality (but that's not the fun part).
 
I think you'll blackout. I had 2 mg of klonopin two hours before a dxm trip, and the police grabbed me from being a traffic hazard. I had a catheter put in and it hurts when I pee. This was three days a ago. I'd say wait a while?
 
I would have been okay left on my own, provided I was out of the street, but when the police seize you and you're in a coma, they take you to the hosptipal, thus the catheter.
 
It wont matter if you took xanax the morning before a trip. xanax has a half life of roughly 4 hours (i believe, could be wrong), so it will be way passed by the time you take it.
In the past, however, i've been robo tripping wayyyy too hard and taken a lorazapam and it's completely sobered me up. so be careful not to take the benzos and dxm too close together. if anything, keep the benzos close for any sort of bad trip you may experience.

I've dosed xanax and DXM together on a couple occasion. I can't tell you it's safe, but it made the experience very cloudy and overall not that great. One time I did 4mg xanax and 720mg DXM and was pretty much semi-blacked out (though still somewhat concious) most the time. My nodded out visuals just looked like there was a red carpety like thing draped over me in the dark, and I just dissociated in that space most the time.

You should be fine if you're taking it 12+ hours apart. I imagine most the xanax would have worn off by then.
 
Ya I waited about 5 hours and the Xanax didn't affect the DXM. Thank's for the info everyone. Happy tripping

Wow 300mg only? The bupropion must potentiate it a lot... If I take 300mg i just get nauseas, headachy, and itchy.. i know that bupropion is often used to enhance the desirable qualities of SSRI's, so i could see the vague similarity.
